Favorite cheap vodka?

Well, I have a wedding coming up and I'm shopping for huge amounts of vodka for the reception.

I want something fairly economical but I don't want to serve guests Heaven Hill either. Anyone have some decent cheap vodka recommendations for me?

Barton's Is probably not a bad choice.

Svedka, a new vodka from Sweden is priced about like Smirnoff and is better -

Seagram's has just come out with a vodka - It is priced less than Smirnoff and most people think it is of higher quality.

If you are buying in quantity don't be afraid to ask for a better price. You should be able to buy for from 8 - 10% over cost + tax from almost anyone if there is quantity involved - If you don't get an acceptable price at home shop in Dallas where the competiton is a little better.

Skyy...it has two "y"'s in the name and the bottle is blue. It's pretty cheap, but looks expensive.

I agree. This is the vodka I'll drink when I'm having more than a couple of drinks....not too expensive but still pretty smooth. Its around $25 for the 1.5l bottle.

Skyy is the majority of what I drink, fairly good and not too expensive; if you want to get one or two bottles of good stuff for the bride, groom, etc. I'd recommend picking up a bottle or two of grey goose; I've seen it for as little as $26 a fifth, and the bride and groom shouldn't have to drink cheap alcohol on the wedding night :)

When you drink like I do Skyy is expensive. I save it for sippin or shots
For regular drinking with juice or tonic your guests won't know.
Use the cheap stuff you are footin the bill..

Sounds like Skyy is the stuff to price. Thanks!

I liked Absolut and Sterling, I'm not sure how they stand in the price range but the hangovers weren't nearly as bad as Flieshman's.
