Recipe of the Day - October 5 (peaches in caramel sauce)
Fresh Peaches in Creamy Caramel Sauce
Ingredients 14 ounces Sweetened Condensed Milk 4 ripe Peaches Preparation Pour the condensed milk into a heavy pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and boil steadily until a caramel color. Meanwhile peel, quarter, and stone the peaches. Spray a heatproof serving dish with non-stock spray or butter it. Add the fruit and pour the hot sauce over. Cover and chill slightly before serving. Servings: 4 |
Hmm, are peaches always in season? I'm thinking this might be good fresh off the orchards (I'm in CA).
