Favorite Cooking Shows
I watch Chefs Tour and Good Eats.More of good eats just because it seems to get the stuff that i would regularly make and explains why what happens happens
My brother and I like to watch Emeril live, hes pretty funny and its sorta like a bonding thing. :)
Iron Chef!!!!
hheh... and the translators are hilarious as well! |
I watch Emeril Live occasionally and Good Eats when I remember the day and time.
Chefs tour and Good Eats here too. I also like East Meets West.
I've only like watched cooking once or twice, unless you count those annoying miracle blade infomercials... But it was the one with Emeril, anyhow.
sure it wasnt Chef Tony, or Randell? :D
I love Jamie Oliver, his cooking is fun, and the accent bit...can't understand a word he says but it's to die for!
'Its sooo GOOD!
Two Fat Ladies was sheer quality. Rick Stein's seafood series always enjoyable, and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall on how to be self-sufficient (grow your pig, then kill it and eat it all!) a must-see.
Ultimately, however, all any red-blooded, food-loving male needs is Nigella Lawson. Yum! |
Emeril Live, just because, and The Naked Chef. I like Rachael Ray also. But I watch most of the shows.
I enjoy most of them..Emeril Live is just fun though sometimes he doesn't cook everyday stuff...there are so many ideas to be had by all though...
does any1 else know on Canadian Cooks that the old 1 with white hair stutters every 5 seconds
Good Eats is the only cooking show that I've made more than one or two recipes from, and I've loved every one of them. Food 911 can be pretty good sometimes, but the host tries to hard to be likeable/cool/goofy/flirty or something like that for me.
Rachael Ray of course (30 Minute Meals)
I live and breathe the Food Network so I watch a ton of the shows... I guess my favorite is Iron Chef, I mean how can you beat that quality?
I can watch food network 24 hours a day, but I really like Jamie Oliver's and Tyler's shows for content.
rachel ray giggles alot, Cooking School and Opening Soon are good shows too
I miss Yan Can Cook =:-(
I watch Emeril and Good Eats. I watch a lot of Food Network shows occasionally, but those two are the most informative IMO.
On other networks, I like some of the Julia Childs shows, particularly Julia & Jacques. Anybody remember "The Cookin' Cajun" Justin Wilson? "What I'm gonna did, see, is put a little wine in dere. Oooh that's good, I Gare-ROHN-tee!" |
Food 911 and The Naked Chef. My girlfriend got a bit obsessed with him, buying all the books, calendar, etc. It funny how British people are stereotyped as bad cooks, but Jamie can cook like no one else can. He makes dishes that look (and even taste good when I try to duplicate them) fun and easy to make.
OK, add me to the Emeril Live list. I love to experiment and have used several of his recipes.
If you ever try his Black Forest Cake, expect rich and inebriating. We didn't allow anyone to drive right after eating a piece. |
galloping gourmet and emeril.
Iron Chef rocks my world. On the other side of the scale of my admiration of chefs, I completely hate/despise/loathe/[insert word for utter dislike] Chef Tony. And he always has this weird look in his eyes like he knows he is a total schmuck, but doesn't care.

The cooking shows I like are the ones where you know the cooking is real. The Iron Chef is a good one. Also, any of the shows about the cooking competitions all over the world. And the show "Best of..". And of course, the Two Fat Ladies, how can anybody not like that one? My favorite chef, however, would have to be Chef Martin Yan. Yan Can Cook was a great show... and his sense of humor is unmatched. |
Rachael Ray of course (30 Minute Meals) Would love to eat her!
Martin Yan was always the funniest and most entertaining show ever... |
wuts that one with the old guy going across the world lookin at produce,He's bald......yeah
good eats rules.. Alton Brown is hilarious and I like the food science aspect
iron chef, and that guy whats his name, the naked chef, hes good
Iron Chef.........watching dueling chefs cook live eels, can it possibly get any better than that???
Nigella Lawson. *drools* (and thats not just because of the food).
and Jamie Oliver - just so pucker! |
Good eats is the best by far. The food network pretty much sucks these days. Some of the cooking shows on the public access channel are okay though.
Nigella Bites, when do most people watch cooking shows? When they’ve got food on their mind and feeling hungry. Not only is there theme appeal, but Nigella is great eye candy too. That and she makes it look so simple, but then a lot of cooking shows do.
I loved the Naked Chef (Jamie Oliver)when I had the station, but hes so adorable and really easy, awsome recipes. Loved how he had his own herb 'garden' outside his kitchen window, which was in actuality a window box with herbs..pretty creative. I love the Iron Chef too, though that damn spokes person with his pirate sleeves..cut it off-get rid of the gloves!
I love watching Good Eats, and the Naked Chef. My girlfriend's dad got me addicted to the shows.
I really enjoy watching Justin Wilson's Cajun Cooking. Although he died a few years back, they still show the reruns on PBS from time to time.
I like watching Iron Chef and Good Eats, too, but my favorite Food Network show is Unwrapped, though it's not really a cooking show. |
I guess I am with the majority - I like Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson - I miss the two fat ladies!
I also watch - I think its called Martin Yan's Chinatown as well as sometimes 'Canadian Living Cooks', Rachel Rae's 30 minute meals and Christina Cushing Live. Emeril tends to annoy me. |
I love cooking shows, I like Jamie Olivers but recently there has been talk over how he tastes something with his finger or so and takes another helping without washing his hand, which maybe unsanitary, I don't really care, bu thats the word
