BLT Sammich!
 

So awhile back I was craving a BLT sandwich and of course I could not just make a standard one. So im2smrt4u and I headed to Trader Joe's to buy some awesome bacon and some other fixins' for the sammich.

Start with some spicy mustard from Philippes

why is your knife pink?

Its not. It is red, it is a tomato knife. All my knives are colored, they are Pure Komachi from Kershaw. They are pretty nice and fun too!

Is nobody else stunned at the fact that this sandwich is the size of my torso? Jesus.

At first I thought it was a perspective thing. But then I realized in order for that to be true she'd have to be using tomatoes the size of marbles.

It's disturbingly large.

It's the size of a baby. A fat American baby.

Those are cherry tomatoes, so while not the size of marbles, they are not standard size. And the sandwich was made on a French Loaf, its not THAT big. geesh! :rolleyes:

Please at least tell me that you had half each?

This image is all kinds of wrong. Eden doesn't wear any shirts.

The only thing I don't like about that sammich is the lettuce. I really hate those thick veiny parts and just use the leaves.

Ahh, see I love the crunch they provide.

Oh yeah. On top of the bacon, under the lettuce.
Sprinkled with a teeny bit of high quality, very fine garlic powder.

plus the hair needs redistribution - the beard is larger than the hair on top :)

Ok, really men, there is a beautiful sammich full of delicious bacon which you all see to love so much and all you care about is the picture of Eden?!?!

Wow, the man love on TFP really is EPIC! It even outdoes bacon.

You could smoke some bacon with it...

I do smoke my own bacon in Japan. The wood here is seriously good for smoking. Long burning high quality hardwood charcoal. Lots of fruitwood chips like cherry and apple, plus the stuff my folks send me. It's really easy to get pork belly in the supermarkets here.

As to the sammich, double the bacon and you are worthy of deity status!

That bacon has me coming back to look at it over and over... I just can't get good bacon here.

There was already 10 pieces on there, you want me to make it 20? Next time...DONE!
