Recipe of the Day - July 5 (cherry salsa)
 

Firecracker Cherry Salsa

Ingredients
2 cups sweet cherries pitted and chopped
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoons sugar, optional
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Mix all ingredients until well blended.

Refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors.

Serve with red, white and blue corn chips

That sounds good... I had cherry salsa in Traverse city Michigan (world's cherry capital) and I loved it...........
