Punk, those chips with guacamole look delicious.
My junk food of choice? Brownies. No nuts though. Also McDonald's fries...the rest of their food sucks but their fries are good. I also love those extra cheesy Goldfish crackers. |

I love those salty little golden "potato" sticks! |
I like Halanna, she is nice and likes roasted almonds.
http://www.nutsonline.com/images/items/04001l72.jpg Roasted almonds are delicious. (This post goes along with the image embedding tutorial Private Message that I just sent to her). |

The chips have to be Tostitos Lime, but pretty much any habanero lime salsa works. I don't buy them often though because I have very little self control when it comes to these.

If I'm approaching my monthly bleeding, I can finish off a box of these within a couple days. http://littledebbiefundraiser.com/Im...udgeRounds.jpg |

Woods, I love Fudge Rounds. They should be kept refrigerated, however; a slight chill works wonders with them.

These kick ass too. https://militaryfoodex.com/catalog/images/oat1.gif |

lol @ the few shreds of lettuce for color ^^
Chili's has great burgers. But I don't like the ones with the thick ass bacon. That's just overkill for me. |

where is that from? looks awesome |
well.... since you ask:
the place is called Dangerous Dan's Diner. It's in Toronto. We actually had a TFP meetup there for lunch once a couple of years ago. Here's their website, check out the menu: http://www.dangerousdansdiner.com/ the previously pictured burger is actually called the quadrupel C, or the Collosal Colon Clogger Combo, which comes with: 24oz burger served with a quarter pound of cheese, a quarter pound of bacon, and 2 fried eggs. Also comes with a large shake (flavor of your choice) and a small poutine. Only $ 23.45 mmmmmmmmm. If you wish you could opt for the Royal Option, which adds a deep fried Mars bar with whipped cream for desert. Now that's junk food |
mmmm poutiiiiiine.
A friend of mine gets me cans of poutine gravy when she goes home to Canada. I don't even make it often but it's comforting knowing I have them readily available, along with a bag of fries in the freezer and cheese in the fridge. |
|
Love the Poutine.
I was all excited to see it on a menu here and ordered some. Sadly it was a disaster. 1) The fries were coated in paprika 2) The gravy was... insipid 3) The cheese was a nacho cheese sauce. I nearly cried. If anything will drag my ass back to Canada it would be poutine. I may have to make some myself... not sure if I can get cheese curd here. |
I find the cheese curds at Trader Joe's. Not sure if there's a store near you though. Try a farmer's market too.
---------- Post added at 07:31 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:27 AM ---------- btw, this is the stuff I have. 8 cans of it. It's really good imo. http://ocanada.com.au/shop/media/cat...Mix52g_Lge.png |
Ahh St Hubert's.... Used to go there for chicken dinners, liked them more than Swiss Chalet. Ya, we have that stuff at home too.
Charlatan, maybe you can arrange to have some curd mailed to you! It's usually in a sealed package eh? By the way, what you describe sounds very close to the only food that I like at Taco Bell: the Fries Supreme http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...iessupreme.jpg |

Woods, I think it's kind of funny that you can get St. Hubert's in Atlanta, especially with it's Canadian bilingual labels.
Just curious do you pronounce it: Saint Hue Berts (long U and Ernie's other half) or Sant Ew bear? |

Hell, no one here could even pronounce 'poutine,' but I'm sure they'd gladly shovel it down with a sweet tea lol. My ex, an Atlanta native, of course has to call it 'poon tang.' |

Just discovered these.
http://www.virginmedia.com/images/ca...rs-430x300.jpg I finished the box in one day. But I had started my period so I had an excuse. |

http://www.bojangles.com/images/sample_image.jpg This is not KFC chicken. It's low country farmhouse chicken, served fast and delicious. |
Popeye's is better.
lol |
Popeye's is a milkshake away from bankruptcy.

I've been enjoying this stuff lately. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...t_truffles.jpg For a chocolate fix, I enjoy these...but haven't had any in quite a while. |

Bojangles doesn't do well here. #1 is KFC, of course and then Popeyes. Church's, then BoJ. Their parking lots always seem to be lacking cars. |
Popeye's Po Boys with honey are delicious.
|
Eat 'em baked or eat 'em raw. Either way, I will eat them all. Without a single pang of guilt or remorse.

Cheese danish. Entenmann's is good. Bakery stuff is sometimes good.

I have a huge weakness for vanilla ice cream sandwiches. I actually prefer the generic Wal-Mart brand over anything else I've found.

Oh, and another junk food that kicks ass: http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/7...tallyranch.gif Sooo goood. But I often pick out the pretzels and give them to my dog. |
wow, lots of junk food in here...let me share some of my sinful pleasures.
Belgian frites - ny god nothing can beat these. I haven't had them in years! http://www.brugeswaffles.com/images/...s_enlarged.jpg In Portugal, we have our own, traditional junk food. Here are: Meat croquetes - http://www.norfrost.net/images/Croquetes.gif Shrimp rissoles - http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Ze2H4ki3OI...ss%C3%B3is.jpg A kind of garlic sausage that is fried (alheira) - http://www.saborintenso.com/attachme...-alheira-2.jpg Sweets: brigadeiro (similar to truffle only stickier) http://ronaldorossi.com.br/blog/wp-c...Brigadeiro.jpg something we like to call camel drool - (made from condensed milk) http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_K6IkMKhnHW...e_Camelo_9.jpg Also, at McDonald's I can't resist the Crispy McBacon burger...that sauce is evil! I hear you guys don't have it over there...is that true? |
I must try poutine someday. I think we were meant to be together.
|
Poutine and you would be adorable together.
