Homemade foccacia bread (not too thick)
Slice bread in half. On one side:

Peperroni
Salami
Prosciutto

On the other side:
Tomato slices
Baby mozzarella slices

Place under broiler so that cheese starts to melt and bread is toasted

Add:
Fresh basil
Salt & pepper
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar

pb&j-illa

Ingredients
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 oz. peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
  • 1 oz. jelly/jam preference
  1. spread pb on one tortilla.
  2. place on warm skillet until peanut butter starts to melt.
  3. add jelly spread evenly.
  4. cover with other tortilla.
  5. flip.
  6. heat until desired crispness.
  7. remove from pan.
  8. cut into triangles.
  9. eat.

Do not put too much peanut butter. You will be tempted on the 2nd pb&j-illa to add more peanut butter. But be warned! Hot dripping peanut butter does not feel good on your skin at all!

Great thread. Lots of good stuff here. Thanks for sharing.

Here is my favorite.

Fry slices of bologna. (normal slices, not thick like Oscar Meyer)
Put them on a toasted Thomas's English Muffin.
Put on Gulden's Brown Mustard.

I've been eating this since I was a kid. It is awesome!!!

Kate Hudson, myself, and Keira Knightley.... DELICIOUS!!! Seriously, a traditional Italian coldcut. Everything you would think to put on it however the key is to get authentic Italian meats from an authentic Italian deli... I live in B-More so Little Italy is the place.... shout out to Matty G and all those great lunches at the crib.

Lately I've been hooked on the following sandwich:

Take 2 pieces of whole-grain white bread (the kind I eat packs a whopping 6g of fiber) and put them in the toaster oven on toast. While the bread is toasting, get out the Best Foods (Hellmann's for you East Coast folks) and cheddar cheese (good cheese is essential). Slice up some cheese. Take one slice of the toast out of the oven, spread it with a thin layer of the mayonnaise, and place the cheese slices on it. Pop it back in the toaster oven and click it over to broil. Take out the other slice of bread and do the same, returning it to the toaster oven. As the cheese is melting, slice up some fresh heirloom tomato. Take out the slice with the meltiest cheese and put the tomato on it; return to the toaster oven briefly before clicking over to toast. Then take both slices out, put them together, and return them to the toaster oven, toasting until the bread is good and toasty.

Enjoy.

some sort of fresh bread sour dough or some sort of italian bread. not too picky as long as its fresh. Turkey fresh is best dont like the stuff thats been packed in water and salt. slice or two of tomato and lettice. Chopped up green peppers and black olives and a thin slice of white american cheese. Then just a little horse radish.

Not all that simple but when i want a sandwich thats what i want.
