Munchies Damn it!!!

I need muchie ideas, gimme yours, here's one of mine

Frozen garlic bread, pan fried just crispy enough to take condiments. Dijon mustard then romanie lettuce and roma tomatoes sliced at and angle. Chicken or turkey breast, not the deli kind, but nice chuncky slices of bird breast. Top with swiss and toast to melt. And oh yeah oil, cracked pepper, and sea salt.

Side of those scoop chips

Wash it down with a carmel De leche cola float or Merlot

In a giant bowl pour two packs of microwave popcorn and waaayy too much butter, potato chips and Parmesan cheese

You'll need a napkin

^^^*drool* I want you to make me one of those! ^^^

moonpie and Cheerwine...pig skins (not bbq, just regular/plain). Liverpuddin' sandwiches. Mount Olive whole sour pickles.

tomato and cheese sandwich, with a bit of mayo. You have to have really good tomatoes for these, though.

Bacon and tomato sandwich, mayo.

Banana and mayo sandwich. (don't say 'eeewww, gross' unless you've actually eaten one! These are fantastic!)

**note..all sandwiches have to be on plain old white bread. None of that fancy wheat stuff.

Ritz crackers with cream cheese and blackberry jam.

in the office now, having a sweet & salty almond chewy nut bar with maple drizzled on it.

this is not your parent's granola bar.

http://thefuntimesguide.com/images/b...ozen-pizza.jpg I know its frozen pizza, but after a good smokeout and a beer or two or three it isn't bad.

Wasa crackers w/ goat cheese and sliced tomatoes or radishes...

Wasa crackers w/ very thinly sliced aged cheddar cheese (cheese plane comes i handy for this) and some form of jam (apricot or raspberry) or thin sliced apples.

Leto 12-14-2007 12:08 PM

home made shortbread thumb cookies (part of Christmas baking) but with a twist: these are savoury shortbread, with cayenne pepper, and jalapeno jelly on top.

fish_oinc 12-14-2007 02:24 PM

2 Oatmeal cookies with a 1/2 inch of Velveeta cheese between them, or Velveeta with peanut butter spread on it messy but good

snowy 12-14-2007 04:39 PM

Clif bars--blueberry crisp, pear apple strudel, banana nut bread
popcorn
apple slices with almond butter for dipping
peanut butter sandwich with strawberry freezer jam
banana
yogurt with pumpkin seed granola
toasted English muffin with peanut butter
toasted English muffin with a thin slice of cheddar cheese
tuna fish sandwich or just plain old tuna salad
quesadilla with salsa

Occasionally, I get in munchie moods where the oddest things sound delicious--like a plain can of green beans or a can of corn or other vegetables.

A can of green beans sounds pretty tasty right now.

LOL...I have finally found my sister from another Mister..I've been eating that since I was 8, much to the chagrin from my family (I only like it on crusty Italian bread)..

1 box of triscuits
1 brick sharp cheddar
1 jar of major grey's chutney

pre heat oven to 300 - cookie sheet pammed lightly - one triscuit topped with one slice of cheddar topped with one tsp chutney - repeat till the cookie sheet is occupied (like that???) and toast till the cheese is just melted - serve off the sheet - it's gonna be hot so be careful!!!

Best sandwich ever: white bread, smooth peanut butter, nacho cheese doritos.

I'll give you the Italian, you give me the Wonderbread! :D (damn them for taking Bambi bread off the market !! :grumpy: )

And what great taste you have !!! My entire family eats them, since before I was born. I never knew other people didn't eat them until I started taking them to work for lunch.

Snickers Ice Cream Bars.

Grilled cheese sandwiches. God, how I miss those. (can't eat dairy anymore)

triscuits or practically any other decent cracker, extra sharp (sharp as they come) cheddar cheese. pepperoni slices (from a stick, not the big ones like for sandwiches).

777 12-21-2007 11:21 AM

It's all about the peanut butter and banana sandwich with honey.

I never have a good supply of honey, but I can understand the simple joy of slicing bananas and spreading the peanut butter to create a meld of goodness that begs to be repeated twice, if not thrice over. :)

A sleeve of Fig Newtons is always choice. I like food that can be savored long after, so my mind usually rotates towards juicy fruits most times; peaches, pineapples, nectarines, white wine grapes, mangos, bartlett pears, cherries, and only GOLDEN DELICIOUS or MACINTOSH apples. Flavor savorful to the point of orgasmic repletion.
