Ted's Montana Grill

I guess this is the best forum for this...

For my birthday dinner last night, I decided to try this place, Ted's Montana Grill. I knew nothing about it other than it looked nice from the outside, and I knew they had steak on the menu, so we gave it a shot.

HOLY CRAP!! This place is FANTASTIC! Their specialty is Bison steaks & burgers, but they have a pretty full menu with beef, seafood and chicken dishes as well. They have no microwave in the building and nothing is frozen except the ice cream amd shrimp. (because its really tough to get fresh shrimp everywhere) And to top it all off, our waiter was awesome!

I got the Bison Delmonaco Ribeye. Oh man, that was unbelievable. Lightly seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Got garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms for sides, both were top-notch. It was $24.99, a tad spendy, but WELL worth it. Appetizer was onion rings, easily the best rings I have ever had. Mrs. Coaster got the 10oz prime rib of beef. It looked bigger than 10 oz. and was a great deal at $16.99 for the full dinner.

If you have one near you, I highly reccomend it. They have locations in Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Virginia.

I've only every been to the one Downtown... It wasn't all that impressive.

But then again. Every restaurant in a chain will be different.

I went to the one in Arlington, VA a couple of weeks ago. I had a fantastic beef steak.

I didn't realize it was a chain.

I love there garlic pickle slices. Mmmmmmmm :) I hear that Ted is one of the more expensive chains in per square foot as far as decor goes.
