Example:

I've mixed taco seasoning with sour cream to make a yummy chip dip, mixed ketchup and mustard and mayo to make chip dip (both good), but when I mixed taco seasoning with mayo it turned out really disgusting and gave me a stomach ache.

Boiling frozen fish fillets in too much water made a fishy soupy mess. Ended up being flushed.

You don't need to add salt to your brine when you smoke oysters. It turns out they have enough of the stuff. I ended up with a pile of very salty smoked oysters
