I'm in, though I may get nauseous at the sight of a firearm by the end of the week.

I thought it was agreed that Sunday (18 Jan 09) was the hard plan, but either day will work.
ROLL CALL: What day does each of the registered shooters prefer? ... In other news: Issues galore. I may not be attending. Take all commands from the tower. |

Ok, I thought it was Sat.
I am in a bad way with this. I am slammed at the moment as I am unexpectedly in another school and working long hours. LordEden, I go to Boone all the time, and I will go out of my way to teach you how to shoot. There is a free range about a half hour away in TN we can go to. It is perfect for what you need. I don't think I am going to be able to make it tommorrow, and Sunday is impossible as I need to be rested come monday. Greg

I stayed up ALL night last night preparing for this?
Alright... fuck it. Cancel. We'll have to reschedule. (takes duffel bag of guns out of his hatchback) Maybe sometime when it isn't below freezing and you weenie-heads aren't occupied. ... I'll make a Post-It note to myself. How about March or something? |

Damn, I was hoping for this trip too, I couldn't afford it really, but I was ready to spend the money. *Sigh* I wanted to go shoot shit and hang out with a bunch of gun-heads. Great, now I have to break down all those boxes and get rid of them Monday morning.
Slims, Boone would be good, I'm currently in Hickory so I'm actually closer to you right now. Let's look for places in NC/TN to shoot and I'm down. Make a weekend out of it or not. I'd like to say hey to your wife too, haven't seen her since her 21st bday. I'm down for anything. Well shit, guess I'm going to my friend's farm tonight and shooting some rounds off. |

Sorry guys. =( No excuses on my part. I really thought Blacksburg was within a 3 hr drive range.
*Edit*: Cromp, If you're up for it, Cresap near Frederick (i think) has a public 100 yrd range on Weekends. Its also very inexpensive....if you're up for shooting there, let me know? |
