We had a great time in New York! Halx and Cynthetiq were a lot of fun to hang out with and frankly, they're the only reason were not still wandering aimlessly through SOHO trying to find Danny a charger for his Ipod!

Lunch at Lomabardi's was as tasty as advertised, as were the brews. The staff was super friendly and efficient!

Yep, the grumpyolddude rocks a three piece suit!


Our friend, Danny, made the trip with only two rehearsals. He played a damn near perfect set!


The worst part of any great trip: packing for the long ride home.

Unfortunately, I have no shots of Manic_Skafe. He showed up for the show, and it was great meeting him, too. I can hardly wait to see the pictures he shot during the show.

We loved New York. We wandered Queens, Soho, Noho and a little bit of Greenwich Village. All of the horror stories we hear about the city.... UNTRUE!!! (just like most of the dirt you hear about our hometown, Detroit!) Even the subways are cool!


This guy don't want to work, just wants to bang on that drum all day!


I just know that guy in the back has already dialed "9-1-1" on those two scruffy looking fellows from out of town.

Every band needs a good omen. Ours seems to be cute girls named Christina:

Christina was the clerk at our hotel. She gave us flawless directions around Queens.

Our story thus far: My band got a call to play a music festival in New York, our drummer suffers a heart attack and can't make the trip. The band recruits Danny to learn some of our songs real quick, enjoy an all expense paid trip, plus pocket a little cash.

He's a great guy. Plays in a band called Odayin. He's not married, but lives with his current girlfriend in a suburb of Detroit. And he has an amazingly diverse and entertaining Ipod. He was a lot of fun to hang with, and did a great job on stage.
