What was that paradigm again?

In the history of the show, I have felt that every time a man has won he has deserved to win. He played well, won challenges, was active in his winning.

On the contrary, every woman (again, in my opinion) has won by being passive, riding coat tails, and overall not being the strongest player.

A look at the winners:

1. Richard - Should have been voted off Day 3 but orchestrated the first "alliance" and made it work to the end.
2. Tina - Only won because Colby was dumb and took her instead of Keith. Colby clearly was the dominant player but faced a sour grapes jury.
3. Ethan - Nicest guy, great at challenges, never crossed anyone. Clear winner.
4. Vecepia - Did NOTHING the entire season but was against Neleh who was naive and annoying.
5. Brian - Another strong player who played it cool and stuck to the plan.
6. Jenna - Rob C. was the best player but didn't make the finals. Jenna had been manipulated the whole game but somehow beat Michael in the finals.
7. Sandra - Again, flew under the radar and really wasn't liked by anyone. Won by virtue of being a suck up and going against Lillian.
8. Amber (All Stars) - C'mon, Rob ran that game from minute 1.
9. Chris - Won despite being the only guy for about 1/2 the game. No way he should have even made it past Day 3 since he lost the first challenge for his team.
10. Tom - He was Terry before there was Terry. Old, wise, strong, and though he rubbed people the wrong way, was very much a dominant player. Didn't hurt that he faced the useless Katie in the finals.
11. Danni - Probably the toughest female Survivor along with Stephanie, whom she faced in the end. She's the best case for arguing that she deserved to win, though she "played the game" far less than Stephanie did.
12. Aras - Terry was the main man this season, but Aras was always right there and won when it counted at the end. Made a good alliance early and, unlike Shane and Courtney, didn't piss everyone off every second. Easy winner over Danielle.
