CHUD.com King Kong review
Chud.com gave it a 8.5 out of 10. I usually really like movies they rate at 7 or higher. It's all subjective though. I am really looking forward to seeing this one. |

I like both the Fay Wray and the Jessica Lange versions of King Kong. When Kong leaps from one tower of the WTC to the other? That was very cool to my 8-year-old eyes. Of course it has been nearly 30 years since I saw it...

Never I say! Merian C. Cooper's version rocks the outdated special effects kasbah. I mean, sure the 70's version had its charm, but the original was well, it was the frickin original, the very first monster film of all time, and a classic in its own right.
