Listening to NPR today, they hyped this miniseries as the biggest thing since Roots. I'm sure some will denounce it, but from what I heard on NPR, it does sound like a wild ride!

Now, I don't have Showtime (which I believe they said it was airing on). So, I have to find alternative methods to view it. Shouldn't be hard. I have little remorse, after paying my monthly $140 cable bill.

showtime is free this weekend, so i will try to check it out if i can

this is an outstanding miniseries. I've determined that anything with oded fehr is going to be worth watching.

i agree, it is very good. i need to see some more.
i think it's a great bit of writing to have the main terrorist working as a security consultant.

This is a very good show. Usually Showtime fare is fairly mediocre, but this one...it's very good. dksuddeth, I agree. Anything with Oded Fehr is worth watching. He's alarmingly good in this.

I just watched 7 episodes and its oddly addicting even though the characters are a bit contrived. The writers of the show can write compelling drama, but they took no risks with the character portrayals. Its just a rehash of all the other deep cover shows and movies but it is as entertaining as mind numbing dramas get.

I gathered that this is about terrorism...but anyone care to fill me in a bit more than that as to what it is exactly about?

A Muslim FBI Agent goes undercover to infiltrate a jihadist terrorist sleeper cell of Americans and Europeans in Los Angeles.

Ah right, sounds interesting. Wonder if this would be moving over to UK TV at any point or whether I would just have to acquire it some other way.

I've acquired the episodes in some other way because I'm in Canada, great show, been hooked since the first one. Looking forward to the finale tonight, I thinks it's 2 hours.

I think it's on TMN in Canada, but I've just downloaded all the episodes rather than wait for them to show them.
