Trading Spaces
You can admit now that you watch that show.
I've been a fan since the begining of the show... way back when Alex McCloud was the host before the completely sexy Page Davis took her place and made it okay for straight men to know how to sew. God Bless Trading Spaces.

WK- it's on our tv right now!
Thanks for allowing me to admit it! Paige is sexy. So is Hilldy. Then there's Teresa Strasser on "While You Were Out". Yum...

When I got my wisdom teeth removed, this was the only show I watched. Apparently codeine and interior decorating go well together. Plus, Paige is hot.

Not to be a troll here, but Paige over Alex? C'mon.
At least Amy Wynn is still around. <img src="http://www.trading-spaces.net/imgs/amymed.jpg">

I have to vote for Alex over Paige... Paige seems a bit too over the top and fake to me, though she is growing on me.
Thanks WK for opening up and letting us all admit to our vice. I find that this show is great to watch with a girlfriend. |

wow... you know, i didn't even consider watching this show for the eye candy... tb honest, the girls of these shows don't do a whole heap for me, and the interior designing aspect is amusing, yes, but i don't think it makes the show completely watchable for me...

I like "While You Were Out" better. I'm kind of addicted to Warehouse Warriors in DIY network too. The hosts of the shows do nothing for me... Well except when their Mic battery is pulling down their already low pants :P

I hate Trading Spaces.
I love Changing Rooms - the BBC show that spawned the concept. T.S. is lacking the personality that C.R.'s host & designers bring to the show. And (as an American I can freely admit this) Americans just have no taste. Feel free to disagree, but do check out the BBC shows Changing Rooms & Ground Force if you've got access to 'em.

You know Xixox you have a point. TS seems soo.. "blah" compared to their BBC counterparts. It's still better than watching the Christopher Lowell show *shudders* I like Food Network, HGTV and The Style channel.. I could totally be a kickass stay at home dad.

I love Ground Force.
I don't watch Changing Rooms because they edit out way to much of the show... You can't get all the good stuff in with just an half-hour. You miss half of the actual stuff they do to the room.

Amy Wynn is a carpenter-HOTTIE! I'd nail her anytime! I'd clamp her down and screw!
Seriously, though, she's way-cool and super-cute. Here's the TLC bio on her: http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/tr...io/bio_09.html |

I am thinking that a lot of the stuff they do on that show looks great only because of the limitations of the cameras. I have worked with wood, and built cabinets for a living, and I know that if you nail a couple pieces of MDF together and paint it with a brush it will look like hell if you get close to it. Don't get me wrong, some of the stuff they do looks great(Frank and Vern mainly, none of the others would get near my house). I am just not sure how great it would look in person.

I started watching the show just for the woman and to please my girlfriend...and then one day....without warning....I enjoyed the show regardless of who was on.
Genevive is my favorite for one particular reason. Frank is my favorite for another. He's funny.

My mom watches this show now because of me. I've always been a design freak and this show is excellent the women just happen to be an added bonus. I havn't been a fan of Lauries work though. Frank comes up with some crazy stuff that just always seems to come to come together. Genevieve however seems to be the one that goes for the most outrageous non-traditional style.
Add another vote for Genevieve for me (skills and beauty). On the BBC shows the owners tend to not only dislike a lot of the designers ideas but flat out hate them. I dunno if its just the few episodes that I've seen but on one they started figuring out how to undo everything before they closed the show. Kinda rude in my opinion. I mean you can show you dont agree with the ideas but they were just plain rude. Also check out the Food Network for 30 Minute Meals with Rachael Ray. Great fast food and shes not that bad to look at either.
