Murderball
 

Here in St. John's the university hosts movies once a week. they are the sort of movies that wouldn't necessarily come to the local drive-in: Indies, Docs, Foreign Films, etc.
Last week, my gf and I went and saw "Murderball". It's the true story of the USA quadripeligic wheelchair rugby team, and I have to say, the best movie that either of us have seen in years. We were simply blown away by this powerful and moving film. It comes out on DVD at the end of November. Please see it, you won't be disappointed!

This movie was atThe Jacksonville Film Festival and won best documentary.

It is an intense film with a very interesting story about these young men’s lives. :thumbsup:

i want to see this movie. after i had my car wreck and was in the hospital i got to watch some of those guys play. its pretty intense and they take it very serious. being a quad myself i'm not goin play; looks like a good way to re-break my kneck.
