As much of an ass as Jamie is, he would be a good one to sit beside in the final 2.
I'm hoping the producers throw a wrench into the "split" tribe thing, otherwise the next 3 weeks are going to be boring, unless there's some dissention in the ranks... |

Woohoo! Jamie is gone! I'M LOVIN IT!
Good episode, seeing three hot chicks covered in mud was quite pleasing Poor lydia, her legs were just too damn short for that challenge.

Lydia is like that Boy Scout leader chick from a couple seasons back. Useless. Easy to pick off, but they alwasy keep her around because she is a vote.
Most people are pleased that psycho Jamie is finally gone. I concur. Isn't it funny that Rafe is emerging as a physical threat? That guy is the least physically intimidating male I've ever seen. And, yes, Stephenie is still bangably hot.

The funniest thing I found about Raif is that he is a wilderness guide, yet he claimed in an earlier episode to have a poor sense of direction and gets lost often. He also doesnt seem to be that indespensible in camp.
If I was a wilderness guide and knew I was going to be on survivor, I would read up bigtime on survival in various areas, what is edible, what isnt, how to catch fish, how to trap small animals, etc. etc. Hell, I'd do all that regardless.

I wish I had the video of me doing "The Happy Dance" when Jamie left.
Now that IS the way you vote someone off! Imagine Bobby Jon sitting at the Losers' Lounge waiting for some company and in walks Jamie. Damn, I would have loved to see the look on his face!

My dislike of Steph (despite her obvious hottieness) is her seemingly arrogant sense of entitlement. It's as though she believes she should win just because she was on a sucky team last year. Her vote for Bobby Jon, and her agreement with the comment that he already had his chance, really sealed the deal for me. Hey babe, you've already had your chance too.
She is a hot woman, but this ain't a Miss America contest.

This is probably one of the first episodes where they showed a bitchiness side to Steph. I still like her a lot though.
I was kinda hoping that Raif would switch sides and get Judd out. Even though I'd like to see Steph win I wouldnt have been dissapointed if they took her out either as she is the leader and that would have been a good mood. I'll be sorry to see Danni go though, I really like her, I wish they could get her in the alliance somehow. Knock Judd out of the alliance and insert her.

Gary had one of the best lines ever in Survivor at tribal council. "Everyone here is star struck by Stephanie. Well you can get her autograph after the show..."

I think I wrote my post before He won any of the challenges. He's kicking ass now for sure! I do not doubt that he can make the final 2 and if he gets there he would stand a good chance cause he hasnt really alienated anyone.

I really love tribal councils where all the beans are spilled. This never used to happen, but the last few seasons saw some people who knew they were going home blow everyone's cover. Priceless
BTW, what was up with Danni voting for Gary last week?

There is one simple, universal rule that can be applied to Survivor and life: Regardless of alliance, brotherhood, sisterhood, or spousehood - if you get drunk and puke in my bed, I vote you off my island. How that SOB is still in the game after that stunt is beyond me!

Derwood's bold prediction time!
Based on the teaser and mid-week TV ads alone, I have a theory about what happens tonight. I'll put it in spoiler tags on the off chance I'm right. I assure you, I have visited no spoiler sites nor have any insider info. I've just seen a lot of Survivor... Spoiler: We're down to 6, so it's time for our seasonly "food auction". It's the normal deal, with players bidding on cookies, burgers, etc. As it's wrapping up, Jeff pulls out "The Mystery Box". It could be filet mignon, it could be a glass of lake water.... But it's not food. It ends up being the individual immunity idol! My guess is that either Danni or Lydia get it, putting another kink iin the alliance's plans

I hate to say it, but I have a feeling Steph might go tonight. She put a target on her head last week. They don't need her anymore and she is their greatest threat.
But, I am still hoping that Judd is puking at loser lounge tonight.

I think tonight's episode officially returned "Scumbag" into the upper echelon of catchy put-downs.

SPOILERS GALORE IN THIS POST
Switching so early in the immunity challenge was stupid. When you have a game of any sort with switch with any other player card, you hold it to the last possible second, until you're trapped and have no moves left, then switch with whoever is in the best position. She switched a dozen moves too early. I wonder if Judd is going to see the hypocrisy in his speech during tribal council and then calling everyone scumbags for voting him off. Gilda

Judd's lies continue... he changed from "You gotta do what you gotta do... no hard feelings" to "You're a bunch of scumbags" pretty quickly tonight.
I can't imagine what question he'll ask the final two... he'll have to be careful that his hypocrisy isn't showing...

Danni clearly saw the layout of the board and that it was the right time to switch. Steph knew it too.
With the 4 guys on the Jury now, we already have the potential for one of the greatest "final trials" ever.

I don't know much about this game and only started following it a few episodes ago but it seems to me that voting Judd off was a big mistake. Since he is so unpopular wouldn't you want to be facing him in the final? It would seem to make sense to get rid of the most liked ones and keep the most disliked ones around if you are trying to win it all.

Too many times the "Lydias" of the game make it to the final two because they are perceived as a non-threat. But when they have no record of deception or backstabbing, they win (I can count at least 3 or 4 past winners who didn't deserve to win but did in this exact scenario...)

Three cheers for good taste!!! Judd is gone!!! It'll be much better without him around..
As far as sitting next to someone like Judd that backstabbed their way in, they could still win since technically they played the GAME better. It all depends on the jury.. But I agree he would be the best one to sit next too, and the ones that float their way in and win, that always aggravated me.. I thought Danni switched too early as well (my wife and I both yelled at the TV), but was glad it worked out for her. Never sure of the timing (TV editting and all), and made she was counting Steph's moves, but as soon as Jeff said she had a lot of real estate she pounced... |

well, at least the latest person voted off got a car out of the deal...
Rafe saying that he would have given everyone else a car and relinquish his... easy to say when you don't have the choice...

She might have been ok if she would have shut-up about winning the car. Seemed like she was just rambling to herself to justify it in her mind. It was a tough choice, but politically it would have been wise, and IF she had made it to the final 2, it would be harder to vote someone off that just gave you a car...

Im not sure if Cindy's move to keep the car was stupid or not. Her alliance was keeping things from her and she knew there was a target on her head. They wanted her out next and she knew it. Cindy would have gotten voted out the next time even if she did give everyone else the car. Cindy may have been rambling on about the car, but who the hell are Rafe and Danni to sit there and be mad about it.
As of now I want Lydia to win. She's the only one who hasnt pissed me off. Im not sure what Rafe did, but he's friends with Danni who i cant stand. I guess I wouldnt mind seeing steph win, Im from Jersey. |
