Heroes and Villains
Some of my favorite movie heroes include:
Indiana Jones - when I was a kid I used to pretend I was looking for a long lost treasure and always made my little brother to be the shmuck friend that ends up getting killed by savages. James Bond - Simply put he has the best toys and women. Luke Jackson - One of the first "older" films that I enjoyed. Led me to the likes of Butch and Sundance, The Sting. This is one I'll always stop the remote while scanning thru the channels. Superman - Have to throw in a comic book guy and he's it. Movie villains include: Jack Torrance - Great lines from a great actor. Really enjoyed this film even though it was very different than the King version. One of my all time favorites. Hanibal Lector - Hopkins has played the character perfect in all three movies. Very intelligent and has yet to be killed. Shark - Jaws series. All the damn thing wanted to do was fill his tummy. Leave the poor thing alone. I'm sure I left out a few but its getting late on the 4th. What's some of your fav's?

My favorite hero is easily Ash from the Evil Dead series. What I like about him is that he takes as much of a beating as anything he's up against. It's so much fun to watch him get slapped around and still come back all cocky and arrogant.
As for villains, I'm going to have to go with Starscream. It was always so much fun to watch him bicker with Megatron and secretly to take over the Decepticons. And his voice just fit him so perfectly. I was saddened to see him reduced to ash. |

I'm in a villianous mood tonight, so I'll list them first.
Patrick Bateman (American Psycho). What an amazing badguy. Tyler Durden (Fight Club). No explaination needed Teddy Gammel (Memento). I just can't bring myself to hate Joey Pants Nina Myers (24). Yeah, she's from TV, but what a villian. And hot too. Neil McCauley (Heat). Fuckin Bobby DeNiro. Budd (Kill Bill). Madsen just drips with coolness. Oh, right....And my favorite heroes... Beatrix Kiddo (Kill Bill). She's one badass mutha. Leonard Shelby (Memento). I am not ashamed to admit that I have a man crush on guy Pearce. Trevor Reznik (The Machinist). Not sure if he quite fits in the hero category, but Christian Bale is amazing, so I had to find somewhere else to squeeze him in there. Dwight, Hartigan, Marv (Sin City). Just wow. Marty McFly (Back to the Future). "what the hell's a flux capacitor?" And of course.... JACK BAUER (24). Bauer's the man, what else can I say? That's all I've got for now.
