Six Feet Under - Fifth and Final Season

While critically acclaimed, it seems that not a lot of people are watching this series. Are any TFP'ers fans of this show?

Since the new season started two weeks ago I have been a little disappointed with how they have failed to address the cliffhanger issues posed in that last episode of season 4. IE: Nate stealing his dead wife's body and the shocking sucide of the brother-in-law.

Anyone else care to comment on that?

Otherrwise the show has been going along pretty well. Glad to see that Billy is on his way back to a new breakdown. Those are always intersting, I am betting he kills or seriously injures Claire. That should put some strain on Brenda and Nate's relationship...

I used to be a big fan of the show.

I just lost interest around the time that Nate got married. I don't know why.

I guess, I just got bored with it.

I was going to watch the first couple of shows of the new season to see if anything had changed, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I always like Billy for some reason, I might have to start watching it just to see him flip out some more.

One of my favorite shows. I agree it's a little bit annoying that they haven't addressed the events that occurred at the end of last season. Looks like they might gloss over it and not address it any more at all.

:) I don't have HBO right now, so torrent and my sister's On Demand capabilities on her cable system at her house are what's keeping me up-to-date.

I'm an older guy who doesn't watch much TV, but I watched and loved Six Feet Under, and I was floored by the finale last night. I can't remember ever mourning or missing a television show before in my life.

I thought one of the best parts of the show was the music. The second compilation from this season is a great chill CD, and represents the show very well.

The ending montage of that last episode was pretty powerful. Left me speechless for a minute or two. Sad to see the show go.

Ya, I've been getting them on NetFlix and really enjoy them. So far tho they only have up to season 3 on DVD as far as I know, so I'm still a few months behind as I don't have HBO either.. Regardless, it's definetly a good show.

Actually, the 4th season just came out today, so you can watch that and only have to wait for one more season to come out and then you'll be able to see the end of the whole series.

Ah nice, got it in my queue now. Thanks!

Well...phooey!
I loved the show, but...I, too, grew bored with it.
Still...I'm gonna miss Lauren Ambrose.

Despite the show having its ups and downs, I still found it a compelling watch. Even when it depressed the hell out of me. (Especially when it depressed the hell out of me.)

I just wrote about it in my journal. A really great ending - that montage really got me.

I only started watching at the end of season 2. I'm looking forward to buying a big ol' box set of the whole series once it comes out.

I just watched the first few episodes the other day. And already, I'm addicted. Holy shit.

This show is SO Good. Sad it had to die, but hey, I've only seen 6 episodes so far.

I'm envious. I wish I could watch it again not knowing how it runs!
