Mr. Mrs. Smith Anyone?
So anyone watch this movie on opening weekend? I saw it last night. One of my friends got the last ticket available. Which unfortunately meant a few of my friends didn't get tickets at all. We ended up having to sneak them in.
As for the movie itself, it was entertaining, but it wasn't "good" (some scenes didn't seem very plausible). But I suppose when you go to see that type of movie, you want it to be entertaining more than anything. Oh, and Angelina Jolie is hot

I thought it was pretty good. The humor in the film makes it worthwhile on it's own. Lots of inuendo's are easy to catch.
A lot of action in the movie, and Jolie looks as gorgeous as ever.

I went primarily for Angelina. It turned out to be a good mindless action film, and I think there were some pretty funny lines in there too.
And man, she looked good in this one...

it was actually fun to watch....more than can be said of several of the movies i've seen so far this year. pitt and jolie really did work nicely on screen...both as foils for each other and in providing some romantic heat.
good comedic timing...plot holes you can drive a semi through, and some really fake looking gun play. it was a damn good movie...and i'll probably pick it up on DVD when it comes out.

It was the most predictable, unimaginative, worst acted peace of garbage to be pawned off on the movie going public since Schwarzeneggar's last POS. If your only reason to see this flic was to watch Angelina Jolie, then save the 8-10 dollars, go rent Gia and watch the first hour, then shut it off before she becomes a crackhead. And to think that this came from the same director that brought us The Bourne Identity and Swingers makes me wonder what incriminating evidence someone had on him to force him to make that trash.

I really liked this movie. I thought it was pretty funny and wouldn't mind seeing it again. Of course it was predictable, you could tell that just from the previews, but it was still enjoyable to watch. And I thought Pitt and Jolie worked really well together onscreen. And yes, Vince Vaughn is hilarious.

Watched it today...it wasn't anything spectacular, but the chemistry between Jolie and Pitt was definitely there, and they were definitely hot. Vince Vaughn was the funniest part of the movie. It's worth seeing.

I've gotta agree with everyone here. It was just "Ok." I felt like I was watching a version of "War of the Roses" and "True Lies." Sure, Angelina is good to look at, but I don't pay 8 dollars to stare at eye candy, I have the internet and porn for that. I go to the movies to be entertained, and this movie barely did that. Vince was the only redeeming quality of this movie...

What is amazing to me is that there are not more people on TFP who agree, as I do, with Nikilidstrom here. I thought it was ridiculous. A complete waste of time. A plotless, directionless meadering sinkhole. All I believe this movie did was further intrench the belief in my mind, and probably many others, that both Brad and Angelina are bad, (or at least not very good) actors.

I feel left out because, well, Angelina just doesn't do it for me.
A lot of it has to do with the clothes they put her in, and the way she carries herself. There were only a couple of scenes in the movie where I actually stopped and noticed "Wow. She's so hot." Mind you, if I saw her walking on the street, I'd think she was the hottest person I'd ever seen. And then I'd see someone beside her that weighs fifteen pounds more, has thin lips and a homely face, and be more attracted. Maybe I'm broken. Or maybe it's Hollywood.

I enjoyed it.
As my wife and I were about to open the door of the theater and take our seats, a fat lady shot up to us and confirmed that we were about to see Mr. & Mrs. Smith. "Don't be afraid to laugh," she admonished. We've spent a great deal of time the past week trying to figure out what that means.

I thought it was a great summer, fun movie. Will it win awards? Maybe from MTV.
Yes it was cheesey, but it was fun. As for the Brad can't act, you're wrong. That is all. As for Jolie can't act, maybe still haven't been wowed by her yet. Frankly, if you go to see this expecting Citizen Kane or something, you're going for the wrong reasons. |

I really liked it. It's got comedy and action, plus it's got Brad. Angelina is one of my favorite actresses and she's pretty good in this as usual.
Really entertaining too, it's definitely climbing the charts as one of my all time favs.

After watching it the second time (wouldn't have but GF wanted to go to see it for first time and I said meh) I noticed two things. 1) Has plot holes. 2) Angeline Jolie's ample chest is really scary in a white tank top.
Oh and for those people who have seen it, imagine the look on the neighbours faces when the house explodes after they knew that the couple were 'creatively redecorating'.... Heh heh hehhh.

I might see it when it comes out on DVD, but I just can't stand Jolie. She's so hot, but I can't watch her in a movie. I don't know. She really hasn't done a good movie.
