Fast Film. The best new 'old' eperimental film you'll see this year.
It's quite long and is so unique.
Director and animator Virgil Widrich is wowing folks with this short film that borrows some of the best scenes in movie history. It starts out pretty normal then takes a trip to the world of origami stop motion. He uses 300 stills from movies and copied them into 65000 photocopies which he makes his film from. Article here with links to the film: 14 minutes. http://www.channel4.com/film/reviews/film.jsp?id=127021 |

No, well, i am using firefox and i am not sure how the interenet cache works - they seem to have their own file extensions.. or i am not looking in the right place. However i managed to use a program called hidownload 6.0 which can save streamed .ram files etc from real time streaming protocol ie rtsp://. so i managed to save it.
Anyway, i would have thought this thread would be more popular, this is an extremely unique and amazing piece of work. |
