I just wanted to encourage others to read this series if they like fantasy books. I have read the first 3 books so far and love it. I am re-reading them again so I can read straight through to the most recent book. (I had to stop reading for a bit, my schedule didnt allow much time for reading.) But I as I read the first book again, it just amazes me how sucked in you can get. They are GREAT books.

I second this - I have really enjoyed the books of this series I read - though they belong to my brother who lives in the states, so no real opportunity to re-read them...

you might want to stop at the 4th of the series, unfortunately. it was once one of my favorite series, but it's really gone downhill. faith of the fallen was the last one i read (6th of the series) and i didn't enjoy it at all.

I just finished the 4th in the series (for the second time).

Last time (the first time) I read this series I stopped at the 5th book. This time I won't even go that far.

Books 1-3 (and kinda 4) are great, but it takes a major downward turn after that.

There's only so many times they can do the (spoiler for anyone who hasn't read any of the series) Spoiler: Richard has to reach/save Kahlan.. Richard doesn't know how to use his power.. Richard discovers when he has to use that he can story.

lol all the servers i play on with wow i have a toon called Confessor. Im a big reader of the TSR books so picking this series up and reading it was a change of pace.. yet its the way the books evolve .. you will read something in book one and find out like in book three that refrence come to fruit. the details, the use of magic.. my god .. anyone got a towel?
