Revelations....is anyone watching?

I didnt get to see it last nite because I was too sleepy, but I did tape it and just finished watching it.

The previews have looked amazing, and I liked the first episode a lot, I'd rather see it all at one time instead of over 6 weeks.

Its replaying on NBC sunday nite at 10 if anyone missed it and wants to see it.

Thoughts from anyone else?

I just finished watching it too, was pretty interesting, I set it for TiVo to grab all episodes.

Is this just a mini-series then, or a full blown new show?

I recorded it as well, but haven't watched it yet....maybe tonight.

I am looking forward to it, I hope it doesn't disappoint.

I liked it. End times views always fascinate me though. I am anxious to see where they go with it.

I taped the show and watched it the same night, but I was here on the computer so I missed a few things.. Who is that baby? The messiah or a demon baby? I've always liked dark religious themed things, so I'll continue watching..

i thought the scientific answers to the plagues where amazing. it seems weird to me how whenever something is explained scientifically it makes more sense and seems so much more plausible.

overall i loved the show. i wasn't even going to watch it, i was checking what time CSI came on when it started and sucked me into it right away. i sat there for the whole hour in awe.

The words "utter crap" came to mind repeatedly when watching this.
It's trying to be like the X-Files, but fails miserably because it's not grounded in reality.
The saddest part for me was knowing that there are a lot of people out there that actually believe this kind of stuff.

So far, for me, all it has done is reinforce the belief that Hollywood thinks that Catholicism is the only religion of the Western world.

It was a decent episode. Wasnt as much 'action' this episode, more of filling out the storyline, bringing out the characters and such.

Just finished watching the last episode of this, and all I can say is what a freakin' uber-disappointment. I think this misfired on every single level. From what I understand this is supposed to be a "pilot" for a series. If so, I have no intention of watching the series.

I have all of them on the Tivo.... along with Point Pleasant. I just don't know if I should bother for either of them...

I don't know about point pleasant, I stopped recording it after about 4 episodes because it was conflicting with other things I was recording. But as far as Revelations, I wouldn't bother wasting the 6 hours, I know I wish I hadn't. I kept hoping that there was going to be some kind of plot payoff that made it worth it, but the "end" was just so contrived and boring.

If you are interested in watching Pullman look weary and do not much of anything for six hours, then by all means. The problems with Revelations had nothing to do with Pullmans acting, he was adequete(as he usually is). The problem is the writing. The plot goes absolutely nowhere, and one of the major plot lines makes no sense at all.
