Movies you NEVER get sick of.

I know you usually can't watch a movie over and over, but I can think of one:

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas <- I think I could watch this non stop... maybe because I absolutley adore Hunter S. Thompson's work.

Also, the narration is just fantastic...

So, does anyone else have movies like this?

hambone 03-20-2005 09:10 PM

I can watch a couple this way.

2 that come to mind are:

Office Space: gets funnier each time :)

&

Gone in 60 Seconds: I actually don't like the movie that much and I only bought it because of Angelina Jolie, but I have found that I can watch it a million times. I know, I should be shot ;)

I'll agree with Shawshank Redemption. The first time I watched it was three years ago when I went to Costa Rica. I watched just about at least once a week during the trip. As for other movies:

American Beauty
Pulp Fiction
Love Actually
Raiders of the Lost Ark

lindseylatch 03-21-2005 07:37 PM

In addition to many of the ones listed above, I like to watch First Knight, with the commentary. It's a LAME movie, but the commentary is hilarious.

Eight 03-22-2005 01:31 AM

We were soliders
Black Hawk Down
Any James Bond :)

Loads of others I'll try and add when I remember

~Lucian~ 03-22-2005 03:09 AM

Alright then.. With my favourite films, I never get sick of watching em:

- Fight Club
- Pulp Fiction
- Boondock Saints
- Versus (Everyone should experience this japanese film at least once :p )
- Blade
- Blade II
- Interview With The Vampire
- Donnie Darko
- American Beauty
- Love Actually (yea, quite the contrast, but i adore this movie)

I guess for me with as far as the matrix and star wars sorta epic films (LOTR trilogy included) are concerned.. i dunno, they're technically awesome movies, but the dull on me and don't have that offbeat edge or class that i usually go for.. barr love actually.. which is just sickeningly cute and.. yea.. my girlfriend loves it.. and i've been sucked into it's charm!

nulltype 03-22-2005 08:08 AM

Night at the Roxsbury, funnier every time you see it.

CoachAlan 03-24-2005 01:39 AM

Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. I know I'm not the only one who thinks it was better than the original. It's the only DVD I own that I consistently watch.

I'm not the only person ever to see this truly amazing piece of work. Wow. I'm not sure it would ever make my list...but it was a hell of a ride.
