Anyone been watching this? They showed the first two episodes so far and i must say im pretty disappointed. I think they got some new writers or something and they are trying to make the dialogue more realistic. I feel like im watching Shakespeare. Anyone else notice this?

Yeah. I don't know if it's more realistic or not, but the dialogue is definitely buggin the crap out of me. I put on the subtitles to help me follow what's going on. It sounds at times like the long-winded kind of crap you would hear in some period piece flick (with liberal amounts of "cocksucker" this and "fuckin" that thrown in). I don't mind the cursing (although I think they often overdo it for shock value), but the long-winded stuff kind of gets to me at times.

There already is a thread for Season 2 - and the others might disagree with you a bit.

They were trying to be historical in many aspects of the show, language included.
