I recorded it, just watched this afternoon. HILARIOUS!! I haven't laughed that hard at a new comedy in ages. I hope NBC doesn't screw it up.

I also thought it was very funny. There aren't many sitcoms that both my wife and I can both agree on. We both loved it. I will see if tonight's episode holds that same standard of funny.

Just watched the new episode that was on tonight. Oh my God I laughed so hard! The scene at the end with the security camera catching Nate and Todd? Comedy gold.

i too saw the episode tonight. i thought it was funny, and actually laughed out loud once or twice.
i'm confused though, does it air tuesdays or thursdays? with the apprentice coming on in 2 weeks (damn, sound just like the nbc commercial, lol), i'm assuming it airs on tuesdays. too bad this show couldn't have made the nbc thursday lineup. i find myself watching wwe smackdown until er comes on (though i guess tonight it's medium?) |

I also caught the second episode last night. I can't believe I laughed harder on this one than the first. I agree, the security camera scene was classic.

I actually thought the first episode was much funnier than the second. They should develop/focus/follow up more on the main couple before diverging to the marginal characters.
NBC didn\'t say much about the rating after the first episode (unlike the pilot of medium, which had 20+ mil. viewers), so I assume it was not that great. Just hope NBC won\'t yank it off the air too soon. |

I really want to like this show, because it seems pretty fresh, but...I'm not sold on it just yet.
The actors seem to be trying just a little too hard, but it's new, so I'll keep watching. There were a few moments where I did laugh out loud, and I have to give NBC credit for trying something a little different. |

I'm really surprised that this show is getting so much praise in this thread. I'll be honest and admit I never caught the series, but that's because judging from the commercial spots it looked like it was going to be horrendously bad. In fact, the only time I ever saw the commercials for a new series that seemed worse was for whoopi goldberg's ill-fated "whoopi". but hey, I'd be happy to be proven wrong, I just doubt I'll go out of my way to check it out any time soon.
