Boogeyman

I may be the only one excited about this movie. I hope it doesn't suck. I love movies about things coming to get you in the dark. Especially things that revolve around suspicion and no one believing you. They're the only ones that I find even remotely scary these days. For example I actually liked "They" which everyone else in the world hated. Not saying it actually scared me it's just my type of horror movie. Hope this one doesn't dissappoint me. The website is pretty cool just hit "ENTER THE SITE" and you can read peoples very own "Boogeyman" stories and even submit some of your own if you want. I love reading those kind of stories. Check it out.

saw the trailer when i went to see the darkness and i wasn't particularly impressed. not likely i'll see it

btw, the darkness wasn't particularly impressive either. there were some major plot holes. it was kind of eerie, though. made me cringe once or twice, but thats because one scene put images of another movie into my head, and was cringing at that movie's scene that was playing in my head

I read a review in today's paper. Not too flattering. The reviewer wrote about how the film maker used the "loud sound" to scare people, and that was the scariest part of the movie. The kind of movie where... suddenly... THERE IS A HAND ON THE GUYS SHOULDER!!! But, whew, it is only his girlfriend's hand.

He said that he lost track of how many minutes were spent with the main character staring at closet doors. The reviewer also said that he wanted to just open the door, shove the guy inside, and shut the door. This is generally a pretty tolerant reviewer, also.

Ahahaha....The only movies that actually scare me or affect me at all are about things coming for you in the dark. So I might actually like this one IF it's good. But there have been time where I didn't agree with the critics. I actually liked "They" for one. I know everyone else hated it though.

Usually I agree with with this particular critic, but... he DID give T2 a bad review when it came out.

The title of the movie is what turns me off and probally a lot of other people. From the trailers I think it looks like it could be really good. I think that I am gonna see it. Its just the name Boogeyman sounds very kidish.

I just got back from seeing it. It was better than I thought it was gonna be. It wasn't great..or scary..just entertaining. Like most movies it was pretty predictable.

Mrs. warrrreagl and I saw this movie last night, and we both enjoyed it fairly well. Pleasantly surprised. Helluva lot better than that stinker "Hide and Seek."

Raimi is the producer, not the director. He also produced the American remake of The Grudge.

I almost went to see 'Hide and Seek' until someone let me know that it sucked. I want to see this, looks decent.
