Does anyone know where the hook from Snoop Dogg's "Drop it Like It's Hot" came from?

I'm sure many of you have heardthis on the radio. The hook is a some corny synthesizer music. I swear it's from some video game or cartoon in the 80's, but can't find any info on it. Does anyone know?

Are you alleging that Mr Broadas didn't write the music himself?

I'm with you. I was thinking the same thing. I know its a very familiar little snippet of music, but I don't know where it came from.

no, at least not on the versions i've played
it's similar, though

could just be something the neptunes came up with; they usually don't rely too heavily on samples
