Does anyone know where the hook from Snoop Dogg's "Drop it Like It's Hot" came from?
I'm sure many of you have heardthis on the radio. The hook is a some corny synthesizer music. I swear it's from some video game or cartoon in the 80's, but can't find any info on it. Does anyone know?

I'm with you. I was thinking the same thing. I know its a very familiar little snippet of music, but I don't know where it came from.

Guys... while eating my raisen bran this morningi t occured to me where the hook is from.....
. . . . . . NBA JAM !!!! Yes! I don't have it with me right now but I'm pretty sure the hook it from the opening theme song. Can anyone confirm this? |

it's similar, though could just be something the neptunes came up with; they usually don't rely too heavily on samples |
