Its a shame that Lori and Bolo are gone, I liked those two.

Was it me, or does it seem like we have less to bitch about now that Jonathan is gone?
And was anyone else ready to applaud the producers for having the players have to swim in the pool for the last part. Talk about wet t-shirt time. Programming geniuses they are.

My hated couples are still there. Freddy and Kendra. Hayden and Aaron. I'm hoping against hope Kris and Jon will win but I think the other teams are going to win and it sickens me. At least if Lori and Bolo were in there I wouldn't have minded if they ended up winning.

I think that Adam and Rebecca are the only weak team left.
I looove Rebecca, but Adam is a big wuss-boy whiner. How cool was it when she said that if she needed to suck it up and be his girlfriend than he would? But I would like to see Kris and John win, they seem to be having a great time and are being nice, not just going crazy like almost everyone else.

Gonna miss L+B, really tho I dont much care about any of the teams left. Last time I was rooting for Chip and Kim the whole time, this time I'm pretty much indifferent to the final 4.

I really don't understand the concept of putting a Yield on a leg of the race that isn't an elimination. I guess you could say that they are put out because of the money thing (specially in China), but I thought it was kind of lame.
And we actually got to see some emotion out of Kris and Jon (I hope they win). I would have been pretty pissed to lose the race because I picked the wrong cabbie... The rest of the teams are garbage. I was really hoping Adam and Rebecca were gone last night. Oh well, 2 more hours to go. |

Awesome show last night. Poor Kris and Jon. But you know, even in the situation they were in they managed to keep their cool. Could you imagine Jonathan and Victoria in that situation? Oh, I forgot, Jonathan can make anyone do anything he wants
That window washing thing? There is no way in hell I could do that. That was crazy.

I have a feeling that Rebecca and Adam are going to have a tough time getting out of the country with no money. I don't think the begging route is going to be too successful.
I loved that they had trouble getting cabs to stop - even when they walked in front of them. One more show left. I don't have a favorite and unlike last time, I don't necessarily have an unfavorite either. I'm just enjoying the eye candy.

Question, why have a non-elimination round on the show before the finale? I mean really what the hell? I knew as soon as Lori and Bolo were eliminated that this week was non-elimination because there was left and therefore didnt really feel that concerned about any of the teams.

Only a couple hours to go. Any thoughts people? I'm leaning towards Hayden and Aaron. They just seem to get it together at the right team. But I wouldn't be suprised on any of them winning - no bowling moms left in the group this year.

If all was right in the universe, Kris and John shoud have won, but oh well, at least Kendra won't have to ever deal with thos people who want to be poor and wallowing in their own filth ever again.
On a side note: I can't believe that they are having Rob and Amber from Survivor on next season! What's the Deal with AR whoreing out to all the other CBS reality shows?

Well, I was really dissapointed that Kris and John didnt win, I was pulling for them, or Hayden and Aaron.
Kendra really repulsed me with her views on other parts of the world. Oh well. 3 weeks till the next series. Wow, they are pumping these suckers out fast!

I was disappointed in the final "challenge". Eating pizza. At an easily locatable pizza place. And Kendra still had trouble doing that. Disappointment.
I did like how the producers arranged for the train to come just in time to block Kris and John. That's good planning. (No sarcasm intended.) And at least give us a couple of months before you start up again. Three weeks? Don't go Millionaire on us. A little anticipation is good.

I need a new show to wash the taste of this one out of my mouth. First having to put up with an abussive ass for most of the show and then having it topped off by a bigoted witch winning settled it for me. I watched right up until the pizza stunt and when they said that was the last one and the they were done I flipped the channel. I just couldn't stomach seeing that scum winning. I hope they get paper cuts everytime they spend any of that money.

I am drawn to the show both for the adventure and because I enjoy watching the teams work together (or not work together) to solve problems. I was disappointed that Kris and John didn't win. I didn't like Kendra's bigoted views of the world (though her comments were entertaining), but I wasn't outraged that Freddy and Kendra won. They worked well together. They were supportive of one another. I didn't want Hayden and Aaron to win. They did not work well together. Hayden was obnoxious. Aaron was the driving force of that team. I didn't think that the hellboy team worked well together either.

I too was dissapointed with the Kris/Jon loss. Although Kendra is ridiculous and Freddy's glasses are from an age long past, they were a very strong team. And hey, what is better than starting their marriage off with a million bucks. Good for them.
I don't know how many of you are survivor watchers, but I am really pumped that Rob and Amber (Amba') are in the next one. I love watching people from other reality shows end up on Amazing Race. Well I guess what's her name from Big Brother last season was kind of lame. But Rob and Amber should be fun. |

I'll agree with you on that sapiens. But I think about after the second survivor (when reality shows really started taking over), the people they cast are less and less ordinary. When's the last time you saw an ugly chick or guy on one of these shows? You almost have to have something extraordinary just to get on. Like next race, we've got 2 survivors, and a ex POW...
I should sign up though, I'd no better than to be final 3 and only check with one airline for the fastest flight... |

This was the first season that I watched, so I don't know what the casts were for previous shows. But this season was just like any other reality tv show cast. Pretty people. Lets face it, we like looking at pretty people.
I'm looking forward to Rob and Amber being on next season (seems weird to say that when it's just 3 weeks away), I think they'll do really well. And the ex-POW guy, that'll be pretty cool.

The do have some "ordinary" people in the race. They are generally the ones gone in the first few weeks. There are always an "old" couple that seem to do OK for a few weeks, and then it the wheat is separated from the chaff.
I actually don't think the Rob and Amber will do well, although they will definitely do better than Alison and Donny (not hard to do). I think that AR and Survivor are two different concepts. In AR your skills are generally physical needs, while Survivor has that element, your scheming is more important. Sweet talking ain't getting you to finish line first. You also don't have an alliance that can eliminate tougher opponents. I think they should do fine, but I don't expect them to be in the final 5.

i'll root for Amber and Rob the whole way. Would be cool to see them win $1 million AGAIN. Plus they have no pressure to win whatsoever. They're in it for the fun, so they will probably not fight the whole time.
