um, i dunno if anyone else thought of this, but my idea for the next big Star Trek Thingie would be to have the borg assimilate, in no particular order:

species 8472
the trill
the founders
the gorn
the tribbles

um, that would be something. and then, they unite captains kirk, spock, picard, janeway, archer, sisko and kangaroo to fight the new menace. okay, maybe not the last one.

it was originally going to be either cap'n crunch or captain kangaroo, and i went with kangaroo at the last minute. the only PERSON who got it, but i think the tribbles would think it is funny. but that's just me.

The borg tried to assimilate species 8472 but couldn't. They also couldnt get any information about them so they couldnt even defend themselves. Too bad for the borg, they would be so much closer to perfection if they could assimilate them.
