Family Guy revival/movie rumor or truth?
I keep on hearing rumors that Family Guy is coming back but all its turned out to be thus far is just that, rumors. Has anyone heard any definate news about either the series coming back or of a movie being produced?

Doubtful, I saw a preview on Fox about the show's creator working on a show with a character that seemed VERY based on Joe Swanson.

last i heard they were working on a new season, and the movie got nixxed.

I haven't heard anything about a movie, but I did hear that the show was coming back to Fox sometime next year. I mean, hell, its syndicated on Adult Swim AND on TBS now...

Not sure it's January (after the Superbowl, as I thought) anymore.. but it's definitely coming back.

Family Guy, based on DVD sales and Adult Swim ratings, is currently being taped (and drawn). According to Seth, it is still on for a late January/early February release. Also, look for American Dad, from the 'people who brought you Family Guy'. If Family Guy makes a good enough comeback, look for the triumphant return of Futurama. Enjoy.

I'd like to see Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, and American Dad on Sundays. Malcom was okay for a while, but it's starting to get redundant. King of the Hill was damned good, too. I'd really like to see the Critic or Dr. Katz come back, but that's not going to happen.

its actualy american dad that will be premiering after the superbowl (exactly 5 years after the premier of family guy). family guy should be back in may or june for the new episodes.

There are new episodes of Family Guy. They have already released the names of the episodes.

The movie was actually split into 3 episodes for the new season. (as a side note I went to the same High School as Seth and my mother actually used to babysit him when he was little. When he moved to LA he gave me all of his old comic books :cool: )

Can't wait to see the new Family Guy. I saw a little clip of Family Dad and didn't like it as much. But I will watch it while waiting for my Family Guy fix.

Agreed. Venture is by far the funniest and most original show on televison right now.
