House of Leaves - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I finished a few weeks ago one of the most unique books ever. House of Leaves by Mike Danielewski. Many novels after having read them its something that is done and rarely looked back upon, just as many films however this is one novel I find myself constantly looking back on.

Worse, you'll realize it's always been shifting, like a shimmer of sorts, a vast shimmer, only dark like a room. But you won't understand why or how.

For readers looking from something outside the box, this novel is far from being able to be summarized in a review, or explination, but its really somthing you have to read for yourself.
For fans of films if you've always enjoyed the more outside the box pictures such as Momento and 21 Grams I would highly encourage you to check out this novel.

It is great. I've had many of my friends read it. I also enjoyed the related music album by Poe, the author's sister.

I could've sworn we discussed this already, but I can't find it right now. Anyway, there's a whole forum just for this book and album: House Of Leaves. People go way overboard on theories there, it's kind of fun. Also, for those of you who haven't read the book and are considering it, there's a great interview/review at Studio 360, in RealAudio format.
