Happiness

I saw the movie 'Happiness' last night on DVD, its got a reconiseable cast and i gotta say it's humour is about as black as they come... It's equally as disturbing as it is funny-

I was wondering if anyone else had seen it, and what they thought?

That movie did not make me happy from what I can recall years ago. Black is an understatement.

I actually own the DVD. It's a great movie, if your tastes run to black comedy. I'd also recommend The Ice House, similar tone and feel.

Jeez... a very dark movie.

I didn't like it, but my wife loves it. She loves all sorts of deeply dark movies.

Had some funny moments, but pretty bleak and brutal. No heros here, everyone's a dysfunctional trainwreck. I liked/loathed the father-shrink character the most.

I found it amazing that the creators of this film found a way to present themes such as pedophilia, murder, and rape, as comical.
