Heh. Sounds like a romp.

I'm not gonna say that it's gonna have depth.

It's a FUN MOVIE. Nobody said it was a intellectual movie.

Same with AVP, Freddy Vs Jason, Godfather, Anchorman, Jackass, ANY TOM GREEN MOVIE...

There must have been a reason for making another one - cease the demand and the bad movies stop being made.
Just like bad tv shows like Family Guy and Futurama ... no, wait, those where awesome shows.

Just watched this as a trailer with Amytivile (sp?)

Have to say it looks terrible. I own CP 2,3,4 on DVD but havent got around to watching them (waiting to pick up CP1 first)

Are the originals proper horror films as I have been led to believe they are? This new film looked like a bad comedy - a pretty weird direction to take a horror franchise.

Yeah the first one kinda TRIED to be a proper horror film but it's chalked full of one liners and things that make certain areas pretty laughable. It scared a few little kids I'm sure and made them afraid of dolls but realisticly speaking...I'd pick Chucky up tie him to a stick and then put lighter fluid on him and watch him burn. Then kill him. Easy..he's a doll ya know?

Quite surprised that there is not a DVD boxset of the Childs Play films yet. Perhaps they are waiting for Seed to come out and bundle them all together.

Of course feel free to correct me if there is a DVD set out. If there is point it out to me!

Bizarre that the first film isnt included in whats branded The Chucky Collection. Must be something do with Universal and MGM holding the respective rights. One day we might see the Ultimate Collection then.
