Your favorite erotica

I'm not talking "romance" novels.... I want to know what your favorite book of erotica is and why. Why should I want to read it?

I'll start with one of my favorites...

CyberWebs by Miranda Reigns.

It's a trilogy. The main character, Miranda, explores many sides of her sexuality with the help of her husband. The scene descriptions are so intense, it's like you're there. You can close your eyes and picture each scene happen.

Amazing for a book I stumbled across in a discount book warehouse.

Ok, how about one of yours?

Sleeping Beauty be A N Roqeulaure (aka Anne Rice)

Its the touching tale of a princess, who is whisked away from her parents to become a sex slave.

Thats about it. ;)

Plot - amazingly, she grows as a person, meets new friends, discovers that she like being punished, and gets a couple bones put into her.

although I could do with out some of the homo-erotic stuff, I would definitely recommend this trilogy to anyone looking for a good read.

The only erotica novel I ever read was Vox by Nicholson Baker. It was unconventional and well written. Less than 200 pages, all dialogue. Some very good imagery.

A book titled Silk by Alessandro Baricco. A business man travels to Japan and has an affair. The language is sparse and leaves much to the imagination. Very good.

If you have an open mind and a tough stomach read some of the stuff by Marquis de Sade.
I did a paper on him for a Lit class and it was an eye opening read.
My recommendation would be Juliette.

"Armageddon - The Remake" by Robert Rankin.

It's not really erotica, but it has scrotum inflation (and Elvis) in it.

The trilogy is fantastic.
Anne Rice is such a great writer. You can sense her love for erotica even in her vampires. :)

For some classic Erotica, pick up an anthology of the Marquis de Sades writings. Wild stuff, not by todays standards though I guess. Parts of it will make you sweat though.
