Any Daily Show fans?
w/ Jon Stewart?
This show always has me laughing. Tonight was a recap of the democratic presidential nomination process, and some footage of the first day of the DNC. Was very entertaining as always. If you haven't seen it, i would suggest tuning in to Comedy Central 11pm weekdays if you have the time. |

Of course! You'll notice a lot of fans of the Daily Show on this board. Its the main news source for some of us. Much more interesting than the 11 o'clock news.

I suffered withdrawls after I moved and no longer had cable... now I have to live vicariously through those of you that DO have cable and watch the show

Not a big fan of Jon Stewert to be honest. Some people think he's hilarious, I just don't know why. Some of the other people on his show are funny though, in fact, pretty much everyone but him. I don't know why, I just don't find him funny on his own show. I'm usually pretty desperate to be watching his show.

I used to watch it all the time, even when stewart started hosting. But over the past few years all they do is make fun of bush. now that itself wont make me stop watching the show. but the fact they do it continually, pushes me away from it. bush is like 90% of their material, I just don't find the same tired, overused crap funny at all.

I just moved into an apartment and I'm not paying for any special cable so I don't get Comedy Central. I bet his coverage of the convention is amazing

It's a great show. Stephen Colbert, Samantha Bee, and Rob Cordry are excellent. Stewart can get really annoying at times, but the majority of the time he's great as well.
But this is a terrible source for news. It hurts my head when people claim this as their sole news source, or when they say stuff like "it's less biased than faux news".

How many shows has John Kerry done? I thought he did a decent job on the Daily Show, which is basically the best comedy show on telivision. They have approached George W. Bush's people about doing the show. I hope, I hope, I hope....

The Daily Show = Teh Rox. I miss Steve Carrell doing alot of the wacky editorial like
things where they go to some obscure location and make it out to be some big news crisis. <-- Whatever these are called. But Ed Helms, Samantha Bee, Rob Cordoury, and Stephen Colbert are much better than the older people they had earlier in the "Stewart Years." (Like Nancy Walls, Vance DeGeneres, etc.

By far the best show on tele. Not only does it have the combined comedic power of Jon Stewert, Lewis black and Steven Cobart but it has up and comers like Sam Bee. I love the way Jon says everything. With a certain confusion/you're a dumbass attitude. By far the best show on TV
