Wow, not one person had a response to the merger episode. I guess I shouldn't be too suprised, this season hasn't exactly done it for me either. My two cents is that it was naive for the men to believe Twila and Julie (mmm, visual stimulation) would remain loyal to them after the merge and they are paying for it now. To top it off, they even voted off all the threats so that the women will have a picnic getting to the final days!

Yeah, I think everyone has lost interest this season, the men completely screwed it up and they all deserve the thrashing they are about to get. The last guy who at least halfway deserved a shot at the title was Rory. He played his ass off on the girls tribe. I probably won't watch the rest of the season, it's stupid now.

During the water race, out to the where the flags. It showed a the second heat at the the starting line. Everyone face was seen except for Scouts'. her face was blured out. They showed pretty much everyone, but they only showed glimpses of her. I could of swore when they were running to the water, Scouts' back wasn't hers' like a body double. Anyone else noticed this?

I agree the men are screwed now.
But watch out for Mark Burnett. He could see what was happening so he probably changed it up or slanted the challenges toward the men or whatever. I'll probably still watch

Oh, that man-hating Ami is such a bitch. She makes lesbians look bad. And Twyla really pissed me off. This season was killing me, but the last episode was great. Ami really has some gender issues to work out and scout was holding on to Twyla for dear life. I wish rory could have burned the camp down when he left. I actually liked him the last two episodes. He played his ass off.

Next week is going to see some serious fireworks. Sarge is going to be pissed as hell at Twila, and the men are going to have scramble big time to get rid of Ami. The only thing Ami has going for her is a hot playboy spread from several years back. Otherwise, she's a calculating bitch without the charm of Jerri Manthey

Ami looks like she's aged a bit from the PB photos from a few years ago. Maybe the loss of her brother took it's toll. I have to say though, this survivor has been great. New, different challenges, and honestly, I am completely gaga over Leann, I think she's beautiful. I like her style, inside and out.

I was disappointed to see Rory leave, but there was really nothing that he (or the men) could have done. I agree that the next few episodes will have some calculated twists/changeups to help the men out a bit. Even though they show some "signs of weakness" in the women's alliance, I still can't help but think that in the end it will be the same story.

The men have been so fucking stupid this season. They should have dumped Julie when they had the chance. Sarge and his crew should have intimidated Twaila and Julie before the vote: "if you break your word you can guarantee that neither of you will recieve a single vote from us if you get to the final two". You never see people play that card when it could matter.

I agree kutulu. The men, as usual, are playing stupid this season, just like all the previous seasons. I just don't understand. The thing is, I am skeptical that we're really seeing the whole picture. I mean, the success of Survivor is dependent almost fully on its editors. For all we know the men have been playing smart and we just dont see it. However, I guess tribal council can't lie.
I didn't know Ami posed for Playboy magazine! That's neat. But it doesn't make me like her. She makes me angry the same way Johnny Fairplay made me angry, because they both were soooo good at making people (viewers) hate them. Basically they're good actors. I think J.F. rivals Rupert for my favourite Survivor of all time. Anyway...Did you all know that Amber Birkch (sp?) was an extra in the movie Wonder Boys? Neat eh?

So do you really think they'd use a stunt double?? Did Scouts team win that challenge? I forget.

Nothing too suprising about this episode. Not sure what Chris meant by this is a vote "for" Sarge "not" against him. Even though you're getting voted out, at least show some remnant of loyalty, sheesh. Julie got to experience reward, yay!!

Those idiot guys. So pathetic and so stupid. It's an all girls finale I predict, unless the girls start fighting amongst themselves and that causes some probs. Or the guys keep getting individual immunity, which I don't think will happen.
The thing that bugs me is that now that there's a minority of guys and it's later in the game the 'strength' aspect of the game has been phased out and now it's all brains. I think that Survivor should definitely be about intelligence, but keep the challenges as an even mix of strength and smarts so that it's fair. (yes by that statement I'm implying that the girls are smarter and the guys are stronger, especially in Vanuatu,) I'm in a Survivor pool and my last remaining constestant is Leann. So what do you all think are her chances of making it? Considering she's absolutely useless in the challenges?

The idiotic guys have proven the wrong way to play Survivor. It is clearly two different games; the tribal game before the merge, and the individual game after the merge. The object must be to get to the merge with large tribal numbers, and the way to do that is to win the tribal immunity challenges. The idiotic guys voted off all their strong members first (as if they had already skipped ahead to the second part of the game) and they got smoked by the ladies in all the tribal immunity challenges.
And now they have the nerve to act surprised that they don't have an advantage in numbers after the merge! The girls are NOT playing unfairly, or deceptively, or "bitchily;" they're playing smart. And they were blessed with 9 idiots for opponents.

The chicken wing deal was the most disrespectfull act I ever saw a survivor do. Of all the contestants I hate Ami the most. She's such a sexist bitch.
The guys this year are the dumbest group ever. Rigth after the reward challenge they should have been talking openly in front of all the women about the pecking order that was revealed earlier. They need to start fights among the women. Where is Rob Mariano when you need him! |

How quickly you forget Johnny Fairplay faking crying and saying his Grandma died! Clearly the most disrespectful - and the best! The more I think about him, the more I love how JF played the game.

Leann is by far the hottest girl on Survivor this time around, not that I want this thread to devolve into a "who's hottest" discussion.
The men continue to do mind-numbingly stupid things, and all deserve to be voted out. At this point all I can hope for is that neither Ami or Scout win. Ami because tho hot, she is a bitch and Scout has just contributed nothing to the tribe.

Last nights episode I thought was interesting. Scout needs to go. I'd be surprised if she wasn't out next week. She imo is no help with challenges. Even though most are individual at this point. The girls could've banned with the guys and taken her out.?
I was sad to see Chad go...what a great guy. Held on forever in the challenge last night. And I think he's pretty much stayed true to his alliance. Which is more than I can say for Chris.

I agree. I can't stand Scout either. She's pretty much useless, I hope to see her leave.
Hell, they shouldnt have let her on the show on the first place, what if she was to take a fall and break her hip or something? :P I woulda preferred to see Chris leave over Chad, but oh well. I'm beginning to like Eliza more and more each week. In the beginning I couldnt stand her.

honestly, i think this is this season is the worst of them all. there isn't a single person left that is deserving of second prize, let alone first. i think the series is getting old, they seem more and more like cookie-cutter versions of the same show.
