Most extreme elimination challenge

Anyone else catch this show on TNN? It is an import from Japan that they dupe over with really cheezy American voices. I don't know how the contestants walk away from some of the stunts. It is definitely one of the funniest shows I have seen on TV.

Its a great show, I remember seeing and add for it a couple years ago on Japanese TV. I just wish they didn't edit out so much, because its even cooler than what they are showing us.

I don't think I've seen that particular show, but I remember seeing years ago on videotape a Japanese gameshow where one of the challenges was to see how long the contestants could stand to have sunlight directed by a magnifying glass at their nipples.

When is it going to be on again? I saw a commercial and couldn't tell if it was going to be a full blown series of just a one time showing.

I saw this the first time two weeks ago. All I can tell you is that it is the best show to pre-drink to I've ever seen.
Stupid events, hillarious falls, and the dubbed commentary just insults all the contestants. Two thumbs up

Its a great show. Trying to swing out and land on that tiny platform in the water, or pole volting out to it.. Commentary is the best though.

The show is great. The one gripe I have though is the commentators walk the fine line between anoying and witty.

It would be a great show if they left out the commentary. Some of the stupiest "jokes" ever.

I think this show is hilarious. I actually came to the forum looking to start a thread about it. My girlfriend actually laughed so hard this last weekend she peed her pants. When the guy did the cartwheel, then tried to backflip and augered his head into the ground instead .... Oh jeebus that's funny stuff.

I absolutley love this show. My brother called me a couple of weeks ago and all I could here was him laughing for about a minute and a half then he hung up. Then about five minutes later his gf called and told me to turn it to TNN. I love it!

Yup, I watch it semi-regularly. My favorite event is the one where they run across the pond on lilly pads, where some of them are able to support people and others aren't

One of my favorites was the guy being drawn and quartered by a set of guys in horse costumes, one tied to either leg. Commentary:

"This was a lot of fun, until the guy tore his sack and went home. What a baby."

Favorite overall episode is the "couples" one. Jokes get pretty blue in that one.

The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!"

I saw the best episode the other day. They shot this soccer ball up into the air (a good 60-70 feet I'd say) and the contestants were supposed to run through mud and catch it. Well this lady tried to catch it, arms open and everything, and it hit her in THE FACE! It was HILARIOUS!!!

Does anyone know if the MXC dialog (dubbed) is the same or even close to the original Japanese dialog? For all we know, the script could be totally different, and probably is. Sometimes the Host's comments are funnier than the stunts. Not that it matters, just wondering.

The lily pad game is called Sinkers and Floaters. The log rolling one is Log Drop. As you can tell, I'm a watcher of this show. Last night it was on and they had the one with the boulders coming down the hill. It was funny as hell because this guy almost got to the top, then another boulder gets thrown down. So he turns around and starts running down the hill. Well as soon as he gets to the bottom, there are other boulders at the bottom so he gets stuck. The look on his face as he was running down was funny as hell. It had my mom( who doesn't really like the show), my moms boyfriend, my fiancee and myself laughing our asses off.
btw
this is the best freakin quote from this show...

Its a complete rewrite of the script. Japanese culture, as strange as you may find it, is more reserved than American. The Japanese censors would never allow that kind of humor on the tube

I spit Coke watching the swinging velcro bit.
The contestants stand on a platform wearing velcro jumpsuits a` la Dave Letterman, then swing on a rope over muddy water and try to stick to a wall on the other side.
Some of 'em hit the wall face first or did a header into the water.

Great show. Kicks Banzais' ass all to hell.
