I would probably watch more porn if there were actually plots. I think that's why soft porn that does have some form of plot do better.

Best porn film I saw was the original Devil and Ms. Jones, because it did have a plot of some sort and not just "let's fuck like this.... now let's add your girlfriend and fuck like this."

IN THE REALM OF THE SENSES (Ai No Corrida) directed by Nagisa Oshima.

It's a Japanese movie that was directed in 1976 and is the first non porn movie I know of that has the actual actors performing real sex acts on screen. Furthermore all the sex in the movie is integral to the plot. The movie caused quite a controversy when it was released and was banned in Japan. So Matt Damon isn't the first person to have this idea. Other more recent films that do this are Romance, Intimacy, and Baise-Moi (which is a French indie directed by and star two former porn stars).

Funny you should mention 'Boogie Nights', as that one is up there with my fave flicks. I'd say that is an intense, character driven film...about porn!

Damon does nothing for me sexually, tho. Christian Bale, on the other hand.....

I own a lot of porn. 6 months at sea and you need porn to keep sane. It would be nice to see one with a real plot to it. Baise -moi doesn't count as porn to me. Way to fucked up to be able to wack off to. Now a good porn with a real plot and acting, i would pay good money for that.
