After seeing the first one, and how bad it was compared to the book. (I mean it really shouldnt have had the same title, it was so far from the book.)

I've read all three Ludlum Bourne series books, and to be honest if they mess up this second one I'll never forgive them for ruining one of my all time favorite spy/action books.
I saw this thread and wanted to read if anyone had said anything about the book but Destrox said exactly what I was going to say.

Watched it last night I really liked it, except for a couple things (spoiler!):

Spoiler: What was with Marie dying so early? I mean, she's billed as one of the main characters, and I really like Franke Potente, but she was killed 10 minutes into it! Also, I wish we had seen more of Julia Stile's character. She just kinda disappeared after her encounter with Bourne.

After reading the books, I knew that the second movie would not be able to accurately follow the book because some of the most important characters were not available for them to use. That being said, I LOVED the second one. While the director may not have chronologically told the story using the same ideas as the book, I think he did a really good job capturing how life must feel to Bourne. Yes, the camera was shaky and annoying because it made things confusing, but if you were actually Bourne in that same situation, that is how things would appear to you. It made it much easier for me to appreciate the character development in the movie, and that definitely holds true to the Bourne Ludlum was trying to create in his books.
