Well, it wasn't on till like 2 am for us here on the East coast so I missed it.

I hate when they have baseball on instead of BB.

So, it's Marvin and Jase then?

I think Diane should have put up Drew, that way it would've ensured Scotts' demise.

Yup, like a dumbass she fell into the 4H's plans.

If I was Diane, I would make it clear that whoever saves a nominee with a veto would then take their place - enough reason to not win. If Scott or Jase wins, then I actually think she will put Marvin up.

I believe that the 'Golden' Power of Veto makes you immune to being nominated for that round.

That could be true, but I am not so sure. What happens if you win veto, you are already nominated, and then you take the other person off? (My loophole mind is whirring with possibilities...)

In any case, she did the best thing the 4H could hope for - a slim possibility that they could still be intact after tonight. IMO tonight is going to be the most interesting night of this BB. Do the 4H stay together, how will everyone react when Natalie is revealed, and who will win the veto? (Weak last question, but I needed something to round out my questions.)

Well at least you didn't call it the "Golden Power of Veto". That just sounds stupid IMO and I get a chuckle every time one of the houseguests use that line.

That does it to me too, and although I know BB makes them do certain things certain ways ("I now call this veto meeting to order"), it still bugs me when they say it the same way all the time. I guess the threat of PB&J until they comply is threatening enough.

And another thing, I want more PB&J weeks - I love seeing them suffer.

If you win veto while you are a nominee and take the other person off you are still a nominee. Its just if you save a nominee while you are a spectator you are then safe from being nominated.

Looks like Scott was evicted and Nakomis was the HoH. I loved the classic look on Jase's face when the episode ended. This was probably his lowest point in the entire game - his biggest Allie left and a huge enemy is now in control.

yay!

While I was happy to see Scott go, I don't like that Nakomis is HOH. Now we've got to listen to her self important, pseudo intellectual babble even more.

I just wish there was a way to get rid of Nakomis and Cowboy right now. They just rub me the wrong way. They seem to think they're far more important in this than they really are.

I think one of the best looks was Scott's when he saw the twin twist. They should definitely bring that clip back in later shows.

Did anyone else notice that Natalie got the question before she was eliminated from the HOH competition wrong but the horrendous announcer Julie Chen didn't notice? She said true about the four plates being on the wall when it was really three plates. Natalie knew it too and hung around for the next question anyway.

I agree, but hey, it takes all kinds to make the world turn.

Now the question is, when does the house suddenly realize that they are all less of a vote with the Adria/Natalie voting block in place. Natalie's speech about being in the house already was a plea to not toss her the first week.

Yeah but they're just too damn annoying. I almost get the feeling I'm stuck in the house with them since I have to listen to them to watch the show.

Anyway, I think Jase understands it already. Drew and Cowboy probably think they're safe until Jase (and probably Marvin) go. The others think they just got a boost to their alliance.

Right now they're all just so starved for something new that it's good to have something to break up the boredom. It will quickly become apparent that the two need to be broken up however.

Once Jase is gone this week (assuming no one screws up the plans), the house will then break into new sides. The evil empire will be gone, and then everyone will suddenly realize that they are playing against themselves. Depending on who wins HOH, one of the twins will probably be gone next week.

From how it looks all the twins are allying (Drew, Diane, Adria, Natalie) to the end.

That leaves everyone else to fend for themselves.

I think next week will be the 6 fingered hand will break off a finger or two. The only problem with limiting the testosterone in the house is that it will quickly become catty. Marvin is the only one who seems to have a full set that he still owns (Diane has Drew's, Cowboy doesn't know what to do with them, and Will....well Will is Will.)

I hope this doesn't degrade into an Alison/Jun bitch fest again.

Well, Will has been voted out of the house, and boy is he PISSED about it!
I will be interesting to see how they act together in the sequester house if they are together. And since Nakomis is HoH I have no doubt that the two twins will be put up, either initially or through a new variation of the six finger plan.

Game on!

Great, another week of philosophy followed by the phrase "they are such bitches". I guess we do have to wait to see if the twins both go up initially, or do we have one and a safety valve for veto. I hope that one of them does get the veto.

I guess that means that she should be the next one put up, especially since she promised Cowboy she would never put him up. And to do without telling him....sounds familiar, I guess blood isn't as thick as pinkies.

Although I am sort of rooting for Cowboy to take it all, I partially hope he is evicted, and then the wonder twin powers will really be activated.

The only two left in the house that I don't dislike are Marvin and Karen.

The twins are just annoying as hell. Their "twin talk" is assinine, their deep thoughts barely break the skin of the water, and they make about the stupidest faces I've ever seen on tv.

Cowboy is as dumb as dirt. I almost want him to win because I know his family probably won't get another shot at being taken care of.

Diane is just too damn manic depressive. One negative comment towards her and she's bawling like a baby.

Nakomis thinks she's as deep and introspectful as the twins are superficial.

What episode did Nakomis promise this to Cowboy?

I don't think it was shown (although I did miss a few episodes). She has said that they had an agreement not to put each other up and she's also said to others that she wouldn't put Cowboy up but may vote him out if it came down to it.

Ok, so after tomorrow the twins are out. And this "week" is a double elimination week.

Aparrently there will be an eviction on Saturday (live) and then another one on Thursday. (Maybe the producers are getting bored and they want to end it quicker.)

Anyone have any thoughts on how the veto competition will change when there are only five players left?

The reason for the double elimination is because there are too many people in the house for the show to end on schedule. Natalie being added to the house gave them an extra person, now they have to take out two in a week to get things back on track.

The Veto comps will probably revert to the old method where everyone plays for them, although there are supposed to be some more twists coming...

We'll know by tomorrow wether Drew has the chalupas to break up the girls. He has to realize that he can go farther playing both sides than staying with just he girls. They'll drop him like a bad habit once Marvin and Cowboy are out.

The evictions has already happened - it was on Friday. Tonight's show won't be live. I guess a weekend taping meant time and a half. So much for enjoying the HOH for more than 24 hours.

I must say that yesterdays Big Brother was probably the best episode I've seen yet. Up untill now I've had nothing by disdain for Diane. Although she is a complete hotty, her two facedness to the twins really pissed me off and made me turn on her, but her plan yesterday to break up Nakomis and Karen totally shocked me and I was excited to see it unfold!

I can't wait to see Nakomis' and Karen's faces on Thursday when Karen is ousted.

I have nothing against Karen, she's flown under the radar all of this game, but watching Nakomis' heart break live on TV will be priceless.

I agree. Didn't see this one coming, but it is the best strategy to make it to the end. You have to figure that whoever gets HOH on Thursday puts up Nakomis and a pawn. Assuming Nakomis doesn't get veto, she's gone. That leaves the endurance HOH to see who is out. Looks like Drew is going to make at least $50k.

I think that Diane is playing for $50k and is trying to posistion herself for that, I think she realizes that she has too many enemies in the jury house.

I liked Julie's interview with Karen. Karen is weeping over the knife still in her back, and Julie calls her on her broken promises to Diane. When you live in a fishbowl, all you know is what the other fish are talking about. And it doesn't take much to escalate things.

I am still rooting for Cowboy, but unless he can get the heart to win the survival competition, he's toast next week.

So, am I the only one actually jumped up and pumped his fist when Diane was booted. I did not expect Drew to go that way. I really don't care who wins, because this year it isn't Alison vs. Jun and you just didn't want either to win at all.

And another thing, I started to feel bad for Cowboy during the final competition. Who would you want to be friends with, who wouldn't you want to be related to...Couldn't they have used someone else as the decoy?

I'm right there with you. I didn't expect it to be her. But i have to admit, i'm incredibly annoyed by CB's dumb luck and how it's gotten him to the final two. Drew on the other hand, thats my boy. I was rooting for him or Marvin, so i'm thrilled to see him make it this far.

I am starting to wonder about the dumb luck. He smoked everyone in the circuit game and blew out Diane in the dna game. I don't think he'll be getting any offers from MIT, but he has started to pull out few. If you asked me a few weeks ago, probably a different answer. But for now...

Ok, my thoughts and questions about the finale last night:-

- Who almost gagged when Nakomis talked about blood being thicker than water and pissed off at cowboy evicting her.
- Who thought Jase was a whiny little ass that should grow up.
- Who was suprised to not see Diane and Drew kiss and makeup at the end - actually I don't think I saw them together at all, I wonder whats going on there.
- Who thinks Lori is so dang Hot!
- Who thought Marvin's questions to Cowboy were extremely unappropriate.

I gagged everytime Nakomis spoke through the whole season.

Jase is a whiny little ass and there's little chance he will grow up while dating a girl whose best friend is a mannequin.

I didn't really look at Diane and Drew at the end. There was little doubt she'd vote for Drew on the off chance that they could remain a couple outside the house and she'd get to spend some of the money. (Same goes for Nakomis and her vote for Cowboy).

Lori is damned hot.

Marvin was absolutely inappropriate and was also a whiny little ass too. I originially wanted Mike to win but that didn't last very long. Then I wanted Jase because he seemed to have the game nailed early on (but then I knew their little coalition would fall apart), and then I wanted Marvin to get the money. After his little performance last night I'm pretty happy he didn't win.

Between Drew and Cowboy I wish Cowboy would have won. Not because I like him but because Drew is a deceitful little weasel who should have honored at least one of his "friendships" during the game.

In the end, I think the only person I like in this entire season is Mike.

Right on target, except I thought Lori was just hot, not necessarily dang hot.

And I loved Mike's comment about Karen backstabbing everyone. When you are in the fishbowl, your memory is like a goldfish's. Every few seconds you see things differently.

At least this year I wasn't rooting for the lesser of two Allison's.

and why the hell do they always cry when they get booted out? Lori was cute, but she had the intelligence of Paris Hilton (which doesnt say much). I was so hoping that Cowboy would win...i thought he'd be like Kevin Spacey in "Usual Suspects"...after he'd win he would talk all proper and leave everyone with their jaws hitting the floor
