Surf Ninjas
Just out of curiosity, has anyone else seen this movie? I have loved this movie for many, many years now, and recently found it on DVD.
Am I that strange to love this movie? I hold it very near and dear to my heart. Quansu!

So, are they surfers that no one can see, ninjas that fight on surf boards or is it about the internet?

Lol, 3 ninjas was terrible.
Nah, this movie is basically about a Boy and his brother that were adopted when they were little learn that they are king/prince of this faraway land. Originally, they start out as surfers, which is where the title comes in. The older brother is destined to become a great warrior, his brother a seer. The kid sees the future in his video game console (game gear maybe?)... Just a really neat, although probably geared more towards the younger crowd (read: nothing like 3 ninjas) movie about two boys finding their destiny. This movie not only has some decent action sequences, it is pretty comic as well. It is probably Rob Schneiders only decent flick ever...

I kinda remember that movie... it had that scene where the eyepatch guy who came to rescue them lit a candle in one part of their house and then ran into the kitchen and opened the oven and turned on the gas so that it would blow up when they were a safe distance away... I also remember trying to recreate this with my friends at summer camp when I was about twelve Too bad the shack we were trying to blow up had all of its windows broken; the gas just dissipated and didn't reach the flame...

"We are going to get something money cannot buy, the Knives of Kuan-Su"
"Knives, money can't buy knives? I guess thats why you never see them around. I once went into a cutlery shop and showed the guy $100,000, and asked to buy a knife, he said 'no, money can't but knives". Definetly Schneiders BEST movie |

It was one of my favorite movies in elementary school. Just the original though.
It's one of those movies that I loved then, but would probably shoot myself if I saw it now.

No definitely not, the main character was the kid from the second TMNT movie... curses, can't remember his name. Anyways, yeah, I remember that movie, I'll prolly have to watch it now that I'm feeling all reminiscent.

I would have quoted the "Money can't buy knives" line if Lotronex hadn't.
The guy's name was Ernie Reyes Jr. I recently saw him again in Rundown, and he is ripped. I remember liking the movie, although I wish they'd have made better use of Leslie Nielsen. Also, the Game Gear thing was just plain silly.

Anyway, Surf Ninjas is one of those classic nostalgia flicks. I remember having the game for Game Gear, making it to the level where you're on the beach, and getting owned by spike pits every single time.
