I need information on one thing and I think that TFP heads is better then one. the peice of info I'd like is great ways people have been killed/tourchered in films. Stuff that is common household kind of information. Memorable killings. Thank you as always PMF21

Mel Gibson being tortured in Lethal Weapon comes to mind.
Mark Wahlberg in Three Kings.

Mel Gibson as Max killing the last bad-guy in Mad Max.
(Set scene: Max makes Johnny the Boy handcuff his own ankle to a car wreck while he (Mel) sets up a lit lighter below a broken headlight which is rapidly filling with leaking gasoline) Max: "The metal in those handcuffs is high carbon steel. It would take you 15 minutes to hack through it with this." (gestures with a hacksaw) Max: "If you're lucky, you can hack through your ankle in 5 minutes." (throws hacksaw on ground and walks away) (cut to scene of Max driving away with a "boom" and fireball rising behind him"

There was a western I saw a few years back named "The Man Called Noon".
It was based on a Louis L'Amour novel about a guy with amnesia that goes by the name of Noon. In one scene, in the book and movie, he takes a rolled-up newspaper or mgazine and hits a man in the throat with a stabbing motion. If I remember correctly, the guys' throat was crushed, killing him.

I liked Titus with Anthony Hopkins. I am not crazy about the stylized interpretation of Shakespeare, but the murders were just freaking insane. Don't watch unless you like tongues, hands, rape, adultery, racism, or Goth-meat pie.

------- Then there is a movie called "The Pit and the Pendulum" with Lance Henriksen playing Torquemada during the Spanish Inquisition. In it, he uses a huge blade in the shape of a half-moon attached to a pendulum that sweeps back and forth across a persons' stomach while they were bound and lying supine, with the expected result. It was a pretty good film and a cult favorite if I recall correctly. Of course, you don't usually find a big-ass pendulum with a blade attached to it in everyone's home.

Last Kiss Goodnight: the water wheel scene.
And for a killing scene who can forget the original Robocop. Murphy gets shot for life 5 minutes straight. Or Single White Female, the dude from Wings gets killed by a shoe, to the eye.

Come on guys! How bout the part in Pulp Fiction where Marsellus Wallace is getting fucked in the ass by the guys at the gun shop, while Butch is watching. That shit was pretty fucked up. Pretty damn tortuous if you ask me.

It's not from a movie.... well it's from a movie in my head.
I always prefer to see someone go out laughing so fill up their car with Nitrous-Oxide. seal all the doors and windows then remove the blocks (they are in neutral and the tranny's disabled.). Watch as they drift down one of those long curvy mountain roads. Brakes have been drained and steering disabled. When they crash they'll be out from the nitrous so they won't feel anything. And when the car drifts off and hits something it's so full of Nitrous it'll explode destroying any evidence of foul play. Other than that there's a few Columbo's that were ingenious like hitting a man over the head with a block of ice in a pool.

Marathon Man is a great one, but how has no one listed the Hannibal movies? I did not see any but Silence of the Lambs out of squeamishness, but I know someone gets fed his own fucking brain in one of the other two.

I don't think this was in any movies or such, but, it is possible to make a man swallow hs own testical while it is still attached. Cut the sack open, and pull it out. The cord is long enough that it will make it all the up and then back down into his stomache. Make sure to pull all his teeth out fist, that way he can't bite the cord and has to feel it being digested.
also, not sure if this is true or not (never had a chance to test it), I've heard that 20,000 volts applied directly to the testicals makes them explode like cherri bombs. A bit tired right now, but I'm sure I can think of some more for you if you want once I get some sleep.

a nasty way to die I have never seen shown in a book or film is intravenous injection of pure liquid nicotine directly into the bloodstream. Read somewhere that one drop will kill an average-sized adult in five minutes.

American History X... when Derek Vineyard (Edward Norton) tells the guy to put his teeth on the curb and then stomps on the back of his head.
There's also the scene in The Hitcher where the truck tears Jennifer Jason Leigh in two. Last edited by fnaqzna; 06-27-2004 at 09:39 AM.. |
