This one may make me unpopular, but:

Event Horizon - I had just read "The Sphere" (which was a great book, but a horrible movie) , so I was really into the mystery about what could have happened to the ship, and the "science" behind the trip and all that. Then, out of nowhere, I get slapped with "Oh, the ship went to Hell, and now we're going to kill you all". From there it just turned into a slasher flick instead of a sci-fi movie. I was expecting "The Abyss", and I ended up with "Jason X".

Super Troopers.

The Hell? I've been told I need to see it a 2nd time to appreciate it... No thanks.

anything starring Adam Sandler.
anything starring Tom Arnold.
anything starring Chris Farly.
anything starring David Spade.
anything starring Shaquille O'Neal.
anything starring any of the Wayans tribe.
anything starring Will Smith.
anything starring Wesley Snipes.
anything starring Jean Claude van Damme.
anything starring Lindsey Lohan, Hilary Duff, the Rat Twins or any of their Tweenie offsiders.
anything starring Britney Spears.
anything starring Steven Seagal.

if only the money wasted of the combined works of these wankers could have been donated to charity... perhaps the world would be a little better.

Good movies:

Sandler: Punch Drunk Love
Arnold: True Lies
Farley: Wayne's World 2
Spade: PCU
O'Neal: Ummmm, ok, I give in on this one
Wayans: I'm Gonna Git You Sucka
Smith: Six Degrees of Separation
Snipes: Demolition Man
Van Damme: Streetfighter? (Ok, that's a huge stretch)
Tweeners: A yet to be made porn starring them and myself
Spears: Ditto
Seagal: A nuts, that's too hard.

There just arent words to describe how wrong what you just said is... Super Troopers is an instant classic

kalisto_911 07-28-2004 08:18 AM

Super Troopers is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Totally ridiculous but awesome:
Big Trouble in Little China
Bukaroo Bonzai
Killer Clowns from Outerspace

Totally ridiculous but terrible:
Tremors 3
Alien Ressurection
The Bourne Identity (Finished the book the day before I saw the movie and Matt Damon just looked so fake and silly in it)

and I can't believe someone mentioned The Corndog Man, that was pretty strange.

Ugh. That movie is on my list of worsts. A huge Pepsi/Taco Bell Commercial! Snipes has done many bad movies. Of the bad ones, there are certainly some better than Demolition Man: Blade, White Men Can't Jump, and New Jack City to name a few.

RogueHunter65 08-05-2004 01:41 PM

Let us not forget

1. Dune

2. Spiceworld (i swear my girlfriend made me watch it)

3. Dougs First movie ( I would have called it dougs last movie)

sashime76 08-06-2004 09:35 AM

1. People under the stairs
2. Meet the parents
3. All Vern movies

sashime76 08-06-2004 09:45 AM

Got a few more to add:

Kung-Pow
Mr. Wonderful - wife bought it and watched it for all 5 mins.
Graveyard shift

08-07-2004 05:39 AM

anyone listed 'the attack of the killer tomatoes'?

repeater 08-07-2004 06:41 AM

Josie and the Pussycats was terrible. My girlfriend at the time made me go (that seems to be a pretty common excuse for bad movies doesn't it?). I've never been more pissed off watching a movie.

Helpher811 08-08-2004 08:43 AM

Dang, I was going to read the entire post, but I'm laughing too hard. I'll forget my post if I don't do it now:

3) anything with Van Dam

2) the accidental tourist (i thought the chicks would like me more......)

1) the ten commandments. what a crock!

Blonddie 08-08-2004 05:40 PM

"Playmate of the Apes". This was a B movie on cable for awhile. NO budget whatsoever, people running around in ape costumes (I've seen better at Halloween), there was even a pink gorilla. And of course it was staffed with completely stupid playgirls in bikinis. We couldn't get through more than 15 mins without laughing hysterically.
Did I mention there was singing and dancing???????

Dawson70 08-08-2004 05:58 PM

RoboCop....aarrggg

Eyes Wide Shut.....yawn

Far and Away........yuk
