Anime companies in danger?
Has anyone else heard anything about this? I'm pretty new to watching it, but it's scary that just as I discover anime it could die soon:

Anime isn't going to die unless the market for those buying it goes away.
This is just another story of outsourcing. India now holds many jobs that were once done in the US. They can do it cheaply. Korean and Chinese animaters work cheaper than Japanese ones...

Anime is a style that originated in Japan but is made all over the world... The creators are still Japanese, the scripts... Japanese... It is just the "grunt" work that will be done elsewhere.
Many Hollywood Blockbuster special effects are done in Canada, New Zealand and elsewhere... They are then inserted elsewhere. Hell many American films are shot entirely in other countries... They are still American produced.
