Pimp, by Iceberg Slim (book review)
Just finished reading Pimp: The Story of My Life by Iceberg Slim for a pop-culture humanities class I'm taking. The novel is a story/biography about his ugly childhood and takes a linear timeline as he describes stories and his life in a nutshell. It focuses on pimping and all the craziness that goes with it.
It's a good read. Check it out. Even if the theme doesn't apeal to you, at least pick it up and read a page or two. If you like how it reads, I promise that it's consistent page-by-page througout the story. -T
