surviving Nugent's hazing
 

Maybe it's just because it induced pledging flashbacks, (unsuspecting guys driven on a cold night to a ranch somewhere outside Waco to do nasty, not so much fun stuff while getting yelled at) but I thought the thing was kinda funny. Did anyone else see it? What were your thoughts?
Mine:
1. his wife was hot.
2. where did they get these characters? scraping the bottom of the reality tv show applicant pool? The struggling stand-up comic? no wonder he's struggling.
3. Nugent really lost a lot of fear and intimidation when he tried to menacingly cut a tree with an obnoxiously oversized chainsaw and wound(!) up cutting his leg pretty bad.
4. Don't have your prepubescent son attempting to yell at and haze the contestants.

What the hell is this "Nugent's hazing" or whatever the hell it is you are speaking of?

I've been wondering that myself, I thought it might be Ted Nugent, but why the hell would he be hazing someone, using them as target practice maybe, but hazing, I hope someone knows what this is because I'm lost

It's a reality show on VH1 called "Surviving Nugent". A group of urban kids, including a vegan, a muslim, a bisexual, an animal rights activist, etc.. who are taken to Nugent's ranch in central Texas, and they have to do chores like shovel shit and harvest deer piss, which Nugent uses when hunting, from a dead deer. During all this, Ted, and his ranch hand yell at them about how terrible a job they're doing. They sleep in a barn. I just happened across it while flipping channels, and have only seen it once. I guess I'm the only one who has seen it at all.
