How about just taking the character to Darth Vader. Darth Vader is a pretty well rounded character as he stands. There is no need to "explore" the psyche.

Why would they redo the costume? Are they going to go back into 4,5, & 6 and digitally reinsert the new costume? I wouldn't put past them.

I wouldn't trust George to watch my beer, let alone do anything right anymore.

I can't wait for them to edit out the scene in Empire where Leia kisses Luke, I can really see them doing that.

From what I understand the costume they are referring to is supposed to be an earlier model than the one we've grown accustomed to. Take a look at this pic...

Some people are speculating that the guy in the foreground of the sketch is wearing a sort of prototype vader suit.

Personally, I'm either way on it as long as I get to hear James Earl Jones utter the words 'destiny' and 'complete'.

I'm not one of the big naysayers about the new trilogy - in fact I liked episode 2, and even thought episode 1 was mildly entertaining - but I could totally see them editing that scene out, and there's no reason to other than to be PC.

I have a feeling that early on in the flick, Vader will look a bit like Darth Revan from KOTOR - an upper portion of his head will be exposed, but the rest will be pretty similar to the classic Darth Vader suit.
